A standard view is described as: "Views of Service Areas, Rooftop or Parking Areas " - from the Disney website. Courtyard view is not dumpsters!

Sorry, see above. I just meant standard as in room - 2 Queens vs 1 King. The view I mean as Courtyard.

Courtyard view - whether it has 2 queens or a king - will overlook the center courtyard. There is upper courtyard which overlook the springs, and is closest to the lobby. And there is lower courtyard, which overlooks the main pool. The dumpster view comes from a standard view.

All of the king rooms should have two sinks. We think that the new king rooms were created when they removed the bunk beds. :)

The CCV rooms have one sink in their bathroom. There are two king rooms on the 7th floor, the former honeymoon suites, but those may be a club level booking.

Sine the room renovations, have the mini fridges changed? On our last trip we were able to put a gallon of milk on the door of the fridge, but I read somewhere that that wasn't possible anymore. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Does the bus from WL to Ft Wilderness take you to the Trails’ End restaurant an the take out or do you have to take an internal bus to get there...can’t remember it’s been so long since we last went HDR...or the boat from MK?

The bus from WL to FtW takes you to the Settlement bus stop, which is the stop that is very close to Trail's End and HDDR. You don't have to take the internal bus.

You can take the boat from MK to get there, too. :)

Thank you! That's great to know. We may take the bus and do a walk around a few of the loops to see the holiday decorations. Or, I should say I will walk, and push my 94 year old mom in her wheelchair. Staying CL at WL Dec. 18-23.

Sorry if this is answered further back. We have a trip in Sept 2022 and would love to book a newly refurbished BRV 1-bedroom. Did they announce the starting date for the renos yet outside of "2022"?

Can anyone tell me what the earliest bus to HS has been recently? I saw on another thread that someone caught a bus to HS as early as 6:45. We are hoping to rope drop RotR and I would like to be near the front in hopes of catching another headliner before the park actually opens to offsite. It will be Christmas week so I want to be prepared!

Hi all.

I've posted this a few times but never get any takers... so I'll keep trying. :goodvibes

We are in need of a new "keeper" of the WL thread. The links/photos/info on Page 1 have become quite stale/outdated. If you would like to volunteer to start a new thread, please let me know.

IMO these threads do not need to be the all encompassing/cover every possible piece of info they once were in the era before YouTube and abundant Disney blog content. But it can be helpful to have someone with a passion/knowledge for WL to maintain the basic info and help steer the thread.

Feel free to PM if interested. Thanks!

We just booked a 2 bed villa for the end of October 2022, and I too would like a refurbished room. However, no start date has been given, as far as I know, for the refurbishment. There is a DVC shareholder meeting Dec 9th and rumor has it that it may come up then. They seem to have test rooms done, so hopefully, fingers crossed, they start early in 2022. But there is also the Grand Floridian Villas conversion happening to one building and the Poly DVC seems to be getting soft goods, at least the bungalows. So who knows where BRV ranks in importance (I say at the top of list since it is in need of a refurbishment).

Does anyone know the cost of the Story Book Pointe dinner? And also, any idea what their allergy menu looks like? I don't see price or allergy menu on the website currently.

This is someone's blog post from April 2020 about an allergy meal there, with photos of the allergy menu: https://mouseearmemories.com/storybook-character-dining-dinner-allergy-menu-review/ It looks about the same as when we dined there in December 2019.

Of course, until the restaurant actually opens nobody will know what the new menu will look like.

As with any allergies, speaking with the chef is strongly encouraged both for safety and because they can modify more than is indicated on the allergy menu. For example, I was able to have the Royal Prime Rib Roast even though it isn't listed as safe for one of my allergens; they just had to make more modifications. And they had safe appetizer and desserts for me, even though none of the ones listed on the allergy menu would be as listed.

There's been notes of a few minor changes to the menu that happened today on The Disney website. The biggest one seems like the vegan option was totally revamped. The changes to most everything else was in name only, or with 1 or 2 ingredients.
