We are driving in from Louisiana and staying in Tallahassee the day before our arrival for our July trip this summer.

We want to hit the road pretty early and make it to MK shortly after rope drop and since I am rarely hungry right when I wake up, my idea was to place a mobile order for breakfast at the Roaring Fork (I love the breakfast bagel and hash from there) before parking at the TTC and heading over to Magic Kingdom for the day.

Do you think the confirmation of my mobile order will be enough to get access to the resort in the morning and if not, do you think I would get a refund for my order?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you're charged until either clicking "I'm here" and meal is prepared or picked up. It's probably at least worth a shot trying. Worst case should be that you're turned around and not charged (assuming you don't click "I'm here" before parking).

Is there a recommended room request location on Copper Creek side? I understand none of the room face the lake but we may just ask for "away from lobby" for wife to have a better chance seeing the lake, unless otherwise recommended. We have a one bedroom but even if a studio or two bedroom you liked I can find a one bedroom near. Thank you.

Does anyone know how much it is for the self-service laundry at WL? Do the machines take debit/credit or are they still quarter machines?

It costs $2 for each load of laundry. Both the washer and dryer cost $2. They only take credit or debit cards.

Checked in yesterday and was blown away to discover we were upgraded from a studio to a two bedroom accessible unit. Nice view too.

Did you book on DVC points, or did you have a cash reservation through Disney?

We have a planned stay in May of 2022, in a DVC studio at Boulder. I keep reading that there will be planned construction at Boulder in 2022 but haven't be able to find any dates. Should we have a concern with the construction planned? We are very much looking forward to staying at this resort.

No it was postponed and does not have a new official start date. No work is currently being done at BRV. Perhaps the hotel side crew will shift over there when they are done in the next 30 days?

Absolutely love this view! Cannot wait to arrive for our July trip! It will feel fantastic to be back at our favorite resort again!
