Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but does anyone know if they're still doing Territory Coffee Company in the mornings at Territory lounge? We're planning a December trip and if I can get my iced coffee fix before heading to the parks that would be a dream.![]()
It's closed. The last I heard they closed it up when Roaring Fork reopened.![]()
It's closed.
Yes, there are lattes on the RF menu, and according to the CM with whom we spoke, they moved the machine down to RF from TL. Now, I doubt they take as much care to make the drinks, nor can they likely individually do extra things like add a shot of espresso as they could do in TL. When we were there, the woman behind the register couldn't even tell us what was in the different lattes.I did see on the Disney parks blog the other day the mention of some coffee drinks though - the blurb stated: "For the first time, Roaring Fork is offering specialty beverages like the Gold Rush Latte (vanilla latte with caramel) previously featured in Territory Lounge, and now on the daily breakfast menu." So maybe they moved the specialty coffee down there now. Probably makes too much sense though..... I'd think Geyser Pt would be a good spot for it now if they don't want to have it at the lounge.

I believe a coffee lounge would be perfect for a Deluxe, much like CR, Poly, et. al. In fact, I can't quite figure why they don't have one at WL. What a perfect spot for coffee sales!I just found the list on all ears that has these specialty lattes. One would think they could do plain one's too......
Specialty Coffees - S'mores Latte, Wilderness Bark, Gold Rush Latte $4.79
But I also found this very disappointing news about Territory Lounge - that was the place for them! We always are getting coffee drinks at CR, Poly, BWV and did so at WL when they had them. It's kind of crazy they aren't doing better with them.
Both pools are open, as is the marina. The paved path to FW is open, though it never closed during the construction. The sandy nature trail still exists, though not in its entirety. It has disappeared under concrete and construction for a good portion of its length. In its place are the cabins on the south side of the Lodge with the walkway that connects all the cabins back to the Lodge. Once you get past the last cabin--8026--the nature trail does pick up again, though I can't report for certain that the crossover section to the paved trail is still there. As for construction, there may be some finishing work in some of the rooms not yet open for inventory, but nothing that would bother anyone.Sorry if this has been answered already, but I can't find it! We haven't been to this resort in about 2 years now (we stayed away during construction, even though it's our "home" and favorite) but we are checking in at the end of this month!!! Are both pools now open? Is the marina open with the water craft rentals? And what about the walkways, bike paths, etc to FW??? Is there still a lot of construction going on???
Hi everyone, as a follow up to my overall floorplan I have gone through my pictures, the resort map, and the declarations some more and put together floor by floor room number maps for the Copper Creek side of WL. I may be a bit obsessed, but I do have a vested interest in this now...

Another interesting note about the 7th floor open to lobby rooms on the South side (7095 and 7096) is that they are listed on the WL room number map as being part of Wilderness Lodge and not Copper Creek Villas. This makes me think they left these former honeymoon room in tact and they are still part of CL at WL. I can't find availability for them online, but I suspect that is how they are being used.

I personally wouldn't request the 7th floor because those rooms would have the dormer balcony and you can only see out of them when you are standing. I would think that a view of the new villas pool would be a nice view and quieter than a courtyard view room.Thank you so much for posting this! I just booked a CCV 1-bedroom for December and had NO CLUE where the rooms might be! I'm trying to figure out if I want to make any requests. My main request is always for a quiet room and typically ask for a high floor, though the views I've seen of first floor patios look quite nice. I've never stayed in this area of the Lodge (We stayed in a 2-bedroom in what is now BRV and in a standard CL room - loved both!). Based on this map, for a quiet room with a nice view, what would you recommend I request - 7th floor?
