Can someone please help? Will the refurb on the lodge and villas be complete by the first week of October? What about Roaring Forks? I'm trying to decide if we should stay here on our next trip, and I can't find exactly when it will be complete? Thanks so much for any help.

Everything, including Roaring Fork refurb, is rumored to be basically done mid July.

The new villas open July 17th, so the second pool and Villa construction should be wrapping up by then. So October you should be good.

I am doing a split stay at the Dolphin then Wilderness Lodge in June. My current plan is to spend the day at the pool on our move out/move in day (weather permitting). However if our room isn't ready and we wanted to shower/change/freshen up and head out to the parks, is there a place to do so at WL?

I thnk you can shower and change at the Sturdy Branches Health Club located inside the Boulder Ridge villas building.

--Pools: The feature pool is open, and will be through the summer? When people mention the pool not being open yet, they are talking about a second, new pool for the new DVC section, is that correct?
--Beach (to watch fireworks and electrical light pageant): Is that open again?

We are currently booked at GF in early August but my son has mentioned he would prefer Wilderness lodge, so I just want to make sure of what will be available. Thank you!

Yes, feature pool is open and will be open. It's only about 2 years old now. DVC pool is under construction
No problems watching boat parade from beach area. Fireworks have never been visible from the beach really. High bursts only.

If you can wait two weeks I can answer all the questions on deluxe room. We leave Friday, but our stay at the deluxe room is Mat 19 to 21, I can then answer the sofa question, and the turn down question.

I'll be checking in on the 21st, actually!
Would greatly appreciate any info. Just a few more days till we're on vacay!

We stayed at The Contemporary last year and had the sea salt body wash, shampoo and conditioner, bar soap, toothbrush kits with mouthwash and the vanity kits with qtips and cotton swabs. (Also received complementary 1L bottles of water each day) Just trying to plan what all we need to bring. Thanks!

They have the grapefruit shampoo, conditioner and body lotion along with two bar soaps -no body wash.

Beer is out during evening apps and you can request it all day.

Food/beverage offerings tend to change over time but pics below were accurate as of late Nov 2016. A CM there at the time said they were likely going to start offering more beers only from the Pacific Northwest, FWIW.

For Disney CL standards, I thought the selection at WL CL was quite bold!

CL had the slightly larger-sized sea salt line, including body wash and after-sun gel. (I get such a kick out of toiletries...) This was back in February.

I did a search of this thread for parking--and saw this result

Is parking usually pretty easy at WL? I know some of the resorts near Epcot have/had issues with people parking there and then just walking over to Epcot...Is there typically an issue with this at WL? Thanks!

We got water on our trip last week too. New bottle each day. No vanity kits or toothbrush/mouthwash kits (I did stick ours from CR in my travel bag as part of my emergency supplies)

Were you in a normal resort room or club level? Was it in the room when you checked in or did you have to ask for it? We have stayed at the WL at least six times, including this past March, and have only received body wash the one time we stayed club level.

I ran into the mouse keeper on the second day and asked. We were in a regular standard room, but our mouse keeper was pretty awesome. She left us a couple bottles of the body wash. She also left us a crazy amount of shampoo and conditioner. Like one day three bottles of each. So other's experiences may vary.

Edit: We had previously received body wash at AKV Kidani, so I was curious and asked about it. I wasn't sure we'd get any.

These are more selections than when we were there 2 weeks ago. I am jealous. They only had Dead Guy, Sessions and the draft beer. Missed the Sam Adams and Moosehead.

To go along with Wood Nymph's thoughts... we had booked at the Standard View level. After room 6034 was assigned to us, our reservation (as seen on the MDE app) showed the room number and Woods View. So while not bookable right now, Woods View still exists in some places in Disney IT.
