May I ask what room number this was and whether you had an enclosed balcony? (General room number area is fine if you don't want to post the exact one)

Edited: forgot my quote. This was for @cinderkelly

Sure! We were in 6042 it was the first room after you turn the right hand corner above the Windows where you can look down into Artst's Point. Great location, close to the elevators. Touring Plans says it's a assistive hearing room, but we didn't notice anything different about it. Yes, I do believe it had an enclosed balcony. I was so enamored with getting to see the castle I hardly noticed :teeth:

Just returned from a week at the WL! Happy to report that we had a WONDERFUL stay and in all honesty, were completely unfazed by the construction. We too spent an afternoon at the pool and never heard the noise at all. Our room was directly above Whispering Canyon and didn't hear the restaurant noise either.

If you've been on the fence about booking WL because of their construction, I would absolutely not hesitate and enjoy your stay!

For those who have seen at the new OFC Lounge, do they still serve cobbler for dessert? Thanks!

I feel dumb for not having an answer for you since we were just there, but it was a short trip and I just never made it to the lounge during dessert! Booo.

My wife did go one night and said she didn't see any cobbler, but she also wasn't looking for it either so she caveats she could have missed it.

Actually that was her only negative comment about the food offerings overall... she thought the desserts were really lacking and limited relative to other CLs we've tried. Eg, basic cookies, same macaroons that are our during afternoon snacks, etc.

Thanks anyway! I always felt dessert was a bit weaker in the lounges, aside from the cordials of course. Even at the BC and Poly on my recent stays, I wasn't crazy about the same cookies, cupcakes etc ...BC was the better of the two.

The cobbler was always the standout separating WL for dessert so I hope they kept it or bring it back.

Hi all. Just back from a wonderful week at WL. booked a standard room and were upgraded to a 6th-floor bunk bed room looking out at magic kingdom. They were doing construction of the cabins below us but we NEVER heard them. In fact the maids outside our room made more noise than the construction outside :)

Going back in Feb for 2 days after our cruise and going to enjoy Club Level. SO EXCITED TO RETURN. This was our first time staying at WL and it is going to be our new home away from home

Hi all, we have just booked a 2 week stay in Oct with the Uk free night offer so I'm excitingly reading along.
Can I check if the higher floor balconys are enclosed- we have a 3 year old! And if you are able to use both pools like at AKL. We are staying in the main lodge.
Thank you.

Using both pools was possible my previous 2 trips. I have not heard yet about the changes with the villas. Hopefully so!

We stopped by the Wilderness Lodge on Saturday, December 3rd for a quick visit. I only took a couple pictures of the construction outside of Roaring Forks. This is the wall that is hiding the patio construction:

And they have frosted the windows near Roaring Forks so that you can't see what they are doing to the patio:

Then on Tuesday morning, Dec 6th, we booked a private water taxi from GF to FW for our breakfast at Trail's End. I asked the CM if he could take the boat past the construction at WL and he was happy to do it:

This is the cabin closest to the monorail and the least finished of all the cabins.

This one has some interior walls and you can tell that there will be a chimney.

It looks like a few of the trees are dying. There are a lot of trees in the courtyard area. The Trout Pass bar is to the right, the construction wall which blocks the view of the construction from the pool area is in the middle, and the new grill area is on the left.

This looks like it will be an open air patio.

This is probably the restaurant. The CM's on the boat said that there are job postings already for the new bar and grill. The marina is getting a new roof.

I posted a copy of these pictures to the Boulder Ridge thread.
These are great photos, Sue! Thanks for posting them. (and asking the captain to drive the boat past them)

So excited! We just changed our reservation for this March from 2 standard view rooms at WL to 1 deluxe room with club level access for our party of 3 adults, 3 kids. The price difference was only a few dollars. We are staying 2 nights before our Disney cruise. I am THRILLED to stay club level! We have always wanted to, and I could never justify the cost, but it worked for us this trip! Okay, enough of my excitement! A few questions: where are the deluxe rooms located? I really want a view of the castle and fireworks if at all possible. Can you get beers during the day? Which drinks and snacks are available all day? We are not going to any parks this trip (just returned last week from a Christmas trip!), so we want to take fulladvantage of the club and hotel for the 2 nights. Any ideas for activities we should do at the hotel? I saw someone mention cookie decorating? I've only stayed here once before a few years ago, and we didn't spend a ton of time at the resort. Thanks in advance!

Hi! Just stayed in a Deluxe Room right after Thanksgiving. I posted quite a bit about the room and location in this post on the Club Level Thread: Disney's Club Level (CL) Information and Questions

The labeled pic in that post will give you a general idea. The Deluxe Rooms are on the ends of the north wing and don't face the MK, unfortunately. However, the new lounge does have two balconies that face towards the MK. I posted lots of photos of our room, new lounge, and food on the CL thread, keep scrolling through the pages starting with that link above and look for posts from me.

Don't let my somewhat negative review of the Deluxe Room get you down. We LOVED CL overall and had a great time. Hope that helps!

Thank you SO much for all the info! Did the Club have milk available all day? I have a 1 and 4 year old that love milk! Beer available throughout day? Did they have champagne or Prosecco? Thanks!

Pretty sure milk cartons were in the fridge all day. If it's not out, just ask. They'll go in the back and get some.

Bottled beer is available all the time upon request. It's in the fridge (along with the two beers on tap) during evening apps. Pretty sure wine would be available all day too upon request but can't vouch for that. Not sure about champagne or Presecco - wine's not my thing, sorry!

Hope you have fun.

I have aways gotten milk upon request at all of the cl's. I have even asked for many(4-6) at a time so I don't have to keep asking. They were always happy to accommodate.

DS is now 19 and one carton at a time isn't enough lol. He also thinks cl cookies and milk should be consumed all hours of the day. We are on VACATION, right??? Teehee

Only 3 wines were out previously and I have not yet heard of any upgrades. My upcoming AKL cl trip people have posted they switched from champagne to sangria and also have Angry Orchard hard cider.

I have both booked soon so I will check:)

We are staying club level for one night in FEB. On the day we check out how long can we use the Club level for? Do we loose privileges after breakfast (check out) or can we come back throughout the day? Thanks
