Would you happen to see anything on bunk beds that have info on weight limit for bunk beds?

Heya, they don't list a weight limit, but they do say never allow a child under 6 on upper bunk, and to prohibit horseplay on or under beds, and to prohibit more than one person on upper bunk. There are other things written, too, but those only look like ones somewhat related to weight (though not really, I guess).

I know that the studios at the WLV have been modified to sleep 5. I was wondering whether the regular rooms on the resort side also sleep 5? Would the standard club level room sleep 5 or would that require the deluxe room? Thanks!

Std rooms and CL rooms at WL sleep 4, except the deluxe CL room that sleeps 6.

Hi I'm from uk too. When you check in you can ask if you can be the flag raising family - how long are staying at WL ? The reason I ask is the longer you stay the more chance in being the flag family at the end of your trip, does that make sense?

Re jet lag, try and stay up as long as you can - don't eat a big meal . We always find that our second full day is when it hits us and we plan a chill day then ie a water park.
We are going for 2 weeks but as it is early July, I guess it will be pretty busy

image.jpg We are home now from our wonderful week at the Lodge. We stayed in room 3106 and I really liked our room location. It was in the south wing - up and to the left of the Cubs Den. The room location was very quiet and was very convenient to the Lobby. The open balcony provided good light in the room. I also liked how there was a divider between the balcony. It felt more private. We received new mattresses on about the 2nd day. The new mattresses are heavenly!! Here are a few room pictures image.jpgimage.jpg

We were in 6106! When I saw your picture posted while you were still there, I suspected we were in the same general area, only us up higher. I was a bit disappointed initially when we got our room because I was hoping to be on the other side, but after our visit there we absolutely loved this location and would be thrilled to have it again!

image.jpg image.jpg I really enjoyed being close to Ft. Wilderness. My DS is a distance runner so it was a perfect area for him to run. He also enjoyed a morning workout in the Fitness Club. I took a peek & I was impressed by the fitness room - one of the nicest resort ones I have seen. I enjoyed a leisurely walk on the nature trail to Ft. Wilderness. It was an easy 10 minute walk. Here are a couple of lake pictures from my walk (sorry I don't know why my pictures are posting before my comments).

Lol. Small world! I would request this area again. It was perfect for us!

Great pics! Are all of the rooms getting new mattresses? That is good to know that they are comfortable!

Just stopping by to say hello. We spent the last two spring breaks at VWL and I loved it. This year we decided a villa room was out of the budget. The family wanted to try something new instead of getting a regular room at WL. So we leave Friday and will be at the Yacht Club all week. Hope to be back at VWL next year.

I am excited about trying a new place and being so close to EPCOT. But also nervous we will not love it as much as the lodge. I am one of those people that likes familiarity so I usually do not like new places at first.

Last year VWL just felt like home from the second we arrived. Hoping I like YC too and then who knows maybe I will have to do split stays.

DD10 was dismayed to learn that DH is going back to Orlando in May for a conference. Seriously, he was just here in March for a meeting!

Little does she know that we will all be at WL in 10 days!! Can't wait for Easter to give them their puzzle to solve!

QUOTE="chiisai, post: 53365973, member: 526908"] OH, the boat ride back from MK is possibly my favorite thing here, in all of WDW! We go back to MK on Friday (our last day) and I'm looking forward to that last boat home in the afternoon.

I need a little nap before our whispering canyon dinner. See ya when I'm home![/QUOTE]

Isn't that boat ride heaven on a nice day? After time in the park you can sit back and look at the water, the blue sky, and all the wonderful things around you. I love it when someone points out the special little things or moments that just add to the magic of a WDW trip (and there are lots of them at the WL)! Those things make me feel so fortunate to be there.
:tink:

I just added an extra day to our stay! I asked my husband last night, and he said, "Why are you even asking? Yes!"

So we'll be at WL from 10/29-11/3!!!!

Does anyone know what the pool hours are in Sept? Wondering when the pool opens since we have a young child who is up early, mind as well go swimming on days we won't be at the parks early!

Hello everyone. We are staying at WL in June and it will be our first time staying onsite at WDW. We are coming up on our 60 day window for online check in, and I was hoping to request a view room. We are staying with a Courtyard view and bunk beds. I was thinking about requesting a NW or NE facing room, hopeful that we could get a view of pool, and bay lake either on the 5th or 6th level. My concerns are (a) Where is the scaffolding located? (b) Will there be a problem with the scaffolding for June arrivals? (c) also if anyone has any of these rooms that they have stayed in and could post pics/references/or their thoughts that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can anyone tell me if there in a possibility to get connecting BUNK COURTYARD and 2Q COURTYARD rooms?

Thanks!

Sorry to say we switched out reservation to the Poly so please remove us from the log. Still plan to visit WL though and hope to stay next time!!

Can't multi-quote right now, but wanted to report we are having a wonderful vacation. Parks are very crowded, but with FP+ and some ADRs and resort downtime, it's enjoyable and very doable. I visited WL today and took many photos. WiFi is very slow so I can only post a few now, but I'll post more next week from home. We ate at Trail's End for breakfast and I was able for the first time to watch them shod the horses. It was so much fun to see close-up at the Blacksmith between the horse stables and ponies.

The scaffolding is currently near the Bear Face rooms in the North Wing. The scaffolding will be making its way throughout the resort for probably the remainder of the year. The cowbells are alive and well and so is Randy S. who is now the Recreation manager at CR where we're staying. He was the WL CL manager for about 4 years and while he is greatly missed from WL, CR is very lucky to have him on their team.

That would be really interesting to see the blacksmith at work. Did the horses mind getting shod?

It seems like they have finished with the scaffolding on the south wing and in front of the lobby, since I've been seeing it moving around the resort since last September, maybe August.
