Do you guys think the menus will change much?
Just had confirmation that the POFQ food court will be reopening to guests on 19 November (after a couple of days of internal menu testing). Ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 8:30am.

As long as they have Mickey waffles and beignets we will be happyI think many of the standard items will still be there (and beignets obviously!) but they will change things up a bit as part of the re-opening. I gather Make-Your-Own-Pasta should now be available for example.

We booked a Garden view because I really didn't want a view of a parking lot (or the pool, honestly) but we like a King too. I know that King was an option for booking, but Garden was more of a priority for us.
Thanks!

Those waffles look amazing. And no one shoot me but I was not a fan of the beignets. I may be suffering from faulty memory but they don't seem remotely like what I ate in New Orleans. They were much "denser" for lack of better words. Granted, I didn't love them there either. DD loved crawfish as a kid, I'm not sure she's had it since. Wonder if she'll want to try out the burger.I think many of the standard items will still be there (and beignets obviously!) but they will change things up a bit as part of the re-opening. Thank you. I thought I was imaging it, folks carried on about them so. We tried them several times and they were always the same, so good for consistency but bad for being accurate beignets.I'm originally from New Orleans - Metairie (from my screen name) is a suburb of NOLA and I just returned today from a trip to NOLA to visit family. (We live in South Florida now.) Sorry, but the PORFQ beignets are NOTHING like the real thing. Just sayin'!

We will be there from the 19-26. I just read about a few good Black Friday sales at Disney Springs!

Answer to #2 is Yes. All that can be found hereWe'll be a POFQ in March. This is an inter-generational trip. Two questions hoping that the experts here can answer.
Appreciate any input.
- My father will be using a scooter. He's got back issues and there is no way he can walk all day. Will the scooter fit in the room or should we leave it outside (remove the key, of course). If outside, is there a way that we can charge the battery each night?
- Standard rooms - are there any in this category that are connecting. Yes, Disney does not guarantee them, I know. But, if we do get one, DW and I would like to leave DS with my parents so we can go to Cali Grill one night. Once they put him to bed, they can go to there room and relax. The only way this will safely work is with a connecting (not adjoining) room.

Scroll down to the FQ map, click on a building and it will show you all the rooms, category and if they connect.
As for #1, we didn't even bring the ECV in to our room at CR, some of the biggest on property. None of the rooms are big enough for people, suitcases and ECV, in my opinion. We charged it out in the hall. I've seen them outside at all the resorts
