Resort Thread Disney's POP CENTURY Resort

Is the beverage station at Petals always open? I don't think it was there the last time I was there, or I just never saw anything on here about it. Even if I don't want to fill my mug, sometimes it'd be nice to fill my water bottle on the way back to the room.
No, the beverage station at Petals is only open the hours that Petals is open.

Correction: Others are saying it is open so my answer was not correct. It sounds like it is open when Petals is closed but I'm not exactly sure of the hours.

I saw folks getting drinks there with Petals closed. I always went past it because it never had ice.
I'm 99% sure we got refills at the Petals beverage station in the morning before Petals had opened. It's definitely accessible 24/7 but I don't know if they turn it off at some point at night, then turn it back on in the morning.

I have a question about room locations at Pop (and the other Value resorts). If you are close to the elevator do you hear it in your room? I am trying to decide what to request for a room. I am torn between rooms on the end of the 80's building on the first floor closest to the parking lot (we are renting a mini-van) versus a top floor room close to the elevator.

thanks. I will update my response based on your experiences. I've never used it and was going from what I thought I'd read but will correct my answer above.

How dark are the rooms, especially for mid-day naps? Do the curtains do a good job with light blocking, or does a lot of light get through?

We stopped in the gift shop earlier today and were able to have my son’s light saber that he built at Savi’s shipped home for a fee as long as we had the receipt showing we had purchased it on property.

I'm thinking of doing Savi's. If you don't mind how much was the shipping. (I know it will vary with location but I was wanting a rough idea)

Does anyone know how much space is between the dresser and the cabinet that holds the refrigerator? I read the beginning post that stated from the other side of the dresser to the bathroom wall is 50 inches, and I am wondering which space is larger.

Not sure how many inches, but I believe there is a table and chairs in the spot between the fridge and the dresser.

No the table is the murphy bed and the chairs can be put anywhere when that is down.

Not sure of the measurements but the space between the dresser and the bathroom wall is larger. When I'm there I stack the 2 dining chairs beside the fridge cabinet and then the garbage can is beside the dresser and that's about all the room there is.

This was the room set-up before the renovations but since the renovations the only table is part of the murphy bed. There are pics on page 1 showing what the rooms look like now.

Just checked out at Pop, the space between the dresser and coffee cabinet was enough for the suitcase rack to sit, and we put our oversized suitcase on it. Still several inches on either side as well.

If you have a grocery order delivered to Luggage services, can you pick it up yourself at any time?
