Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

Has anyone had grocery delivery lately or have it scheduled at the Pop? I have ordered through Garden Grocer in the past and had a good experience but I would like to try ordering delivery direct through Publix, the prices and selection is better. So I'm wondering if anyone had any recent experience with Publix especially. Thanks for any info.

And piggy-backing on ajrdwgirl's question...

What about Postmates, Doordash or even UberEats? Any issues delivering to POP these days?

For those who have ridden the Skyliner, are they spacing people out in the cabins and leaving some empty? I understand each group gets their own but aside from that, are some purposely being left empty?
The only lines I rode were Pop-CBR and CBR-Riv-Epcot. On those lines, at the time of day I traveled, they were not filling every gondola and they were not putting more than one party per gondola.

Ive been ordering through Amazon prime Now, and has been great through 2 separate orders. Luck had it that I was able to meet the driver out front both times.

CBR still opens soon, but AoA delaying opening will definitely help the skyliner traffic for Pop guests. Still like to see it start like 8:30 or even 8:45 for HS, but I guess I’ll take it.

yeah. I wonder how many of the AoA guests will be put in Pop At least the line from pop will just be pop people. Sadly during my trip we won’t be able to go get food from AoA though but it isn’t a big deal for us. I hope they find comparable rooms for all the suite reservations. I noticed HS was sold out for resort guests a day during Labor Day Weekend. I am nervous at how busy it will be. Only day I worry is that one - getting there in time to try for RotR. Not awful if we don’t get one since we were lucky to go a day in February. So much looking forward to our trip though.

Has the mobile ordering always been crowded or is it just during certain times of the day? I heard you could still walk in and buy food and pay at the registers. Is mobile order mandatory??

We were at Pop last week and you had to mobile order. There were no cast members running the registers, but perhaps someone could jump on one if there was a glitch with MDE or something.

We got to the bus stop yesterday at 7:45 and made it on to the second bus. The first bus didn't show up until 8:05, and by then, the MK bus line was all the way back to the AK stop!

Arrived at MK around 8:30 and while the published opening was 9am, the park was open and we walked right in! Note: Every park we've been to so far has been open by the time we get there. DHS was open at 9:40 when we arrived by skyliner(got skunked all day for RotR), and Epcot was open at 10:40 at International gateway.
Today, I also arrived at the bus stop at 7:45am and I too got on the 2nd bus, which got to MK around 8:30 to an open and near empty park. The info was good for judging how early I needed to be at the bus stop for MK. Arriving early at MK was fantastic and a breeze to enter. I took plenty of photos around the castle and then slow walked into a completely empty Liberty Square. Best morning arrival ever.

Judging by how close you were to making it on the first bus, do you think 10 min earlier would have gotten you on 1st bus? Did you also get out to AK bus at 6:45?

I’d hope that if a guest didn’t have a smart phone, or having trouble with MDX like you stated, a CM could try to order on an iPad or let you pay the traditional way.

We’re also there during Labor Wknd. What days at HS are full? I’m surprised resort guest days are full for that wknd. We were actually thinking of swapping some days around by making eliminating our 2nd HS day. Good point about AoA guests getting relocated to Pop. I think they already upgraded some All star folks there. With 80s and 90s not occupied right now, they could open more bldgs and make it more congested for transportation, dining, pools.

Thanks for posting this @RaySharpton. Hopefully this is an area that they can improve, especially with Art of Animation not opening until November.

Is this the line of people who have ordered and are waiting to pick up their order? Once your food is ready, is there an easy way to get to it or do you need to wait in this long line to get it and your food gets cold?
