Did you notice if the toasters or microwaves were available for guests to use at the Pop food court? We just got back from a split stay; Pop and then Contemporary. Pop let's you into the food court to refill your mugs. They have someone working the fountains & coffee pot; they put your drinks in a large cup. Nice thing for us - they let us get two drinks per mug as the line was normally long. Pop's food court was more efficient than the Contemporary's. Contemporary took 30 or more minutes to fill orders and their drink line was extremely long most of our stops.
I'm all set to arrive at POP tomorrow for a Friday-Monday stay. Just received an email that my magic bands "shipped" today and are waiting at a USPS facility. I think Disney may have dropped the ball on that one a bit. No way I receive these before our trip so I was told that I have to go to the front desk and they can give us magic bands. I guess we don't get to do the whole straight to the door check-in process.![]()
Does anyone know if you can enter the gift card once and it stays saved in there for future mobile orders?Nope. I wish mobile order would let you charge back to the room, so I would only have one transaction instead of multiple ones to reconcile when the cc bill comes. I miss using my MB to pay for that reason. I will be getting a gift card to use for mobile order on my next trip. I ended up eating breakfast in the room and a TS meal about 3pm and then just having snacks later in the room instead of using mobile order.
Could anyone with recent trips please comment how early the buses are arriving at Pop, and I think I still haven't seen if buses to EP and HS are still coming on the top of each hr or not?
I think I saw someone post that there's no ice cream at Pop?... not sure what's with all of the closure of ice cream places like the Plaza and Hollywood Scoops. It's hot.
Are the Pop pools open late for your 7pm MK days or 8pm HS.
Are only certain bldgs open - I think someone mention 80s and 90s were closed? Sorry so many questions.
Yes, with the transportation having the increased risk of being the bottleneck, I expect to rope drop Skyliner, and buses, to be first on board. If it were me and I wanted to try to secure a boarding group, I would probably be in line for the Skyliner around 8:50 just to be on the safe side.
I'm sorry if this has been addressed but I'm a little confused about the food court situation. Is the only way to get food (especially breakfast) through mobile order? I have tables in wonderland and I was hoping to use it for my discount in for breakfast but I don't think I can get the discount through mobile order. It would be a bummer not to be able to use it. Thanks.
When I was there earlier this week they had one register open since not everyone has a smart phone and can mobile order. I mobile ordered during my stay though so I’m not sure how non-mobile ordering works with the new setup.
Thank you, I have been wondering about the bus situation.Haven't been to Pop recently. I called in, and the info isn't always absolutely right but this is what CM said:
1. Pop Century pools open 11am-9pm, have to wear your mask except when swimming or drying off.
2. 50's and 60's bldgs are the only ones open right now.
3. Buses to HS and EP not available unless skyliner is not operating.
4. Mobile order is a must. The 1 open register is for paying by cash, after you mobile order, not to circumvent mobile order. You can still go into Everything Pop and peruse and then mobile order. Sit in is available but limited. Some of the options are closed off, including the ice cream station, and the pop station, as we knew.
5. Still holding your bag for check in and checkout days for going to the park.
6. Skyliner is still running beginning 9am for HS and 10:30 for EP, or just before as people are finding, even though they've been letting guests in around 9-915 to HS and 10:15 for EP. CM said they review skyliner hrs every week, and maybe it will change soon.
7. While you can opt of housekeeping, they will go into your room to check around, as mentioned. Even if you open your blinds ea. am, they will go into your room. But are not supposed to actively touch everything.
All of the QS property wide are encouraging mobile order, and some are mobile order only. In fact, the only place I saw that was allowing non mobile order was Cosmic Ray’s at MK and the line to be allowed in to order was pretty long. Of course, I did not see every restaurant, so there may be others offering cash/MB sales. I really wish mobile order would let me charge back to the room, but the only options I saw were cc or gift card. I really prefer QS in the summer because I don’t like big meals in the heat, but went with TS last week because I could use cash or MB at TS restaurants. If you use a cc for mobile orders, it charges directly to the card, not back to your room, so you don’t have the option to cover those with gift cards later like you would with a MB. It’s not horrible, but it takes some planning if you are used to paying for things one way and now have to pay differently.Does anyone know if you can enter the gift card once and it stays saved in there for future mobile orders?
Trying to decide between paying mobile orders by gift card or using the same credit card that gets saved to MB for room charges to pay off by gift card. If that works, you'd potentially get credit card points with charges that can be paid by gc. But it sort of sounds like you have to mobile order at most places like at Pop and QS restaurants, so maybe the MB charging would only be for like snack carts? I sort of prefer to be able to just order at a QS if kind of a last min. stop, instead of mobile ordering.
My room was in the 70’s last week, so those are open as well.Haven't been to Pop recently. I called in, and the info isn't always absolutely right but this is what CM said:

Thanks, after posting this, I thought about this and sort of concluded there was no way mobile order was going to charge back to room. I figured mobile order was encouraged at the parks but didn't realize that you pretty much can't regular order. I'm not sure there is really any need to setup to charge MB to your room, in that case. We will just combine GCs into one over $500 for meals and put that in, and hopefully that saves for future use.All of the QS property wide are encouraging mobile order, and some are mobile order only. Specifically asked about the 70s since I heard no 80's and 90's on the boards, and CM said no. But that's good to know that it's an option too. ThanksMy room was in the 70’s last week, so those are open as well.
