There are plenty of standard rooms at Pop close to transportation.Stayed here in 2007 and 2012, we are planning to stay here again November 2016. We just got back from AoA on Saturday and we stayed at the finding memo suite, we stayed at the LM rooms in 2014 and the walk was so exhausting for us especially after a long park day. I don't really remember how far the standard rooms are from transportation at pop, are they as far as the LM?
Boardwalk espn club maybe?Sick here too! Hoping we are up and running by Saturday!
But first a question! Is there a place in the hotel to watch a football game? A bar? Or something? I know the room is an option but my DH was thinking maybe after DD went to bed he would grab a drink and watch some of the game.
If not I'm thinking Maybe Disney Springs.
I'm sorry to hear about your long bus waits. I have always thought POP had one of the better busing services. This will be our first stay at POP, but we have stayed twice at POR and once at CB and I was never really satisfied with the busing. Big resorts, a lot of bus tips and ALWAYS standing room only. I was hoping POP would be better. Otherwise, I hope you had a good tripWe personally had long waits for the buses. We waited at the resort and at the parks. I first part of the trip, we always had to stand and were packed into the buses. Towards the end of the trip we finally started waiting for another bus and let others around us because we just couldn't face another standing bus ride. On our first day we waited 45 minutes for a bus back to Pop from the MK.
Boardwalk espn club maybe?
For everyone who is feeling under the weather, I hope you all get well soon. I swear by "Airborne". I insist the family take this week before we go and even while we are there. We had a bad experience our first few trip to Disney. Both of my kids contracted a virus, developed into viral pneumonia. Our next trip, flu. Next two trips, have used airborne, wiped down airplane tables and arm rests and the rooms with Clorox wipes before we touch anything. We hand sanitizer before and after almost every ride. Maybe a little overkill but, so far, it has kept up healthy. Let's hope this trip is no different. No one wants to be sick at Disney, or get sick there.

haha oh man yes, we had flu so bad last trip, it wasn't even a long one, 4 days, so it really put a major damper on what we could do.For everyone who is feeling under the weather, I hope you all get well soon. We had even brought clorox wipes but THIS time...we shipped a whole Purell sanitizing kit (lots of sizes of sanitizer and wipes haha) to Pop that should arrive tomorrow...and of course the clorox wipes on everything on planes. So, naturally, we get the flu in the days leading up to going. Both boys missing a day of an extremely short week anyway, only to be gone next week. oh, well. Supper tonight? Star Wars soup. Mini-win for me...now to pack....Sick here too! Hoping we are up and running by Saturday!

It's disappointing to hear about the long bus waits. When looking for a resort this trip, we chose POP for many reasons but one was because everyone seemed unaminous in their praise of the bus service at POP. I hope this isn't a trend as I also have read a couple of negative reports lately. We will have cars available, but we were hoping to use the buses especially to MK. Staying tuned to hear what others experience during the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the reports from those of you who have just returned! I appreciate the info.
DH and I watched part of the Pats game from the Pedals poolside bar, it was a beautiful evening, and not too crowded. It was fun!

We don't do airborne but take vitamin C and Echinea with golden seal pills. I also recently got Christmas scented hand sanitizer from bath and body works. Also travel Clorox wipes for the airplane.
Glad to know I'm not the only germaphobe. Many times I've wiped down the tray/armrests on the plane. I was between CBR and POP, and I chose POP because we are barely in our rooms (we are "hardcore" park people). I figured I could use the extra savings to buy more souvenirs! haha. I also heard the bus service is great at POP as compared to the multiple stops around the resort at CBR. Can't wait to get there!
