someone in an earlier post was asking if they had peanut butter available like the do jelly and margarine.
I know they had it in September when we were there because I would eat it on my waffles but just wanted to see if you remember seeing them when you were there?
:thanks: :disrocks:
Yes, there was peanut butter available in the middle of the grab and go section. If you get a bagel, you can get 2 packs of peanut butter or cream cheese at no charge. A la carte, the peanut butter is 2 packs for under $1, don't remember the exact price.

The floors are completed, and I think they still have the same table/chairs.

What time does POP open for breakfast?...We have a 9;45 am flight and i know you have to leave 3 hours before flight to use the ME (6;45 am!!) , but i like to have breakfast before we leave...is this possible? and also, Do we HAVE to leave 3 hours before? has anyone left sooner than 3 hours before?

I am pretty sure 6AM.

Yes, if there is an earlier pickup at your resort, you can ask to board it. You will get a paper from ME slipped under your door the day before, and you call to confirm your departure. You could ask then for an earlier ME bus, and they will schedule it for you.
Regarding Pop breakfast, my experience has been the proteins (eggs & bacon, etc) are not available before 6:30. The 6:00 is waffles or pancakes, cereal, rolls.

Not free anymore :guilty: but 2/$1, I can handle that or pack me a jar in my suitecase :rotfl:

Are you able to request a standard king room? I don't love the idea of a full sized bed for my husband and I.

You can definitely request a standard king room but they are not guaranteed.
Most, if not all, king rooms are handicap accessible and they are available to book for an accessible room.
POP only has 144 king rooms total spread out in every room catagory so if that is your main request, I would recommend that you make it your ONLY request to have a better chance of getting one. We have requested king rooms a few times and had to move a day or 2 into our trip to get one.

Thanks for the advice!

But please don't book or ask for a true HC accessible room if you need the roll in shower. There are multiple types of HC accessible rooms and those are very limited and it is frustrating to need one of those, especially in a particular location and not be able to get it because it has been given away strictly as a request.

YES! Please do not book or ask for a true HC accessible room if you don't need one!
I hope that my post did not insinuate that someone should book HC accessible just to get a king room, this was definitely not the intention of my post.
This would be unethical for someone to book an HC room if they don't need it, just to get a king bed, possibly taking it away from someone that needs it.

I got one once at All Star Music. I hadn't requested or needed it. I felt extremely guilty! I thought about going to tell them to move me if someone needed it, but I never did get down there and do that. Next time I will for sure. I still wish I'd done that as I feel guilty about it!

They normally will only assign a HC if they aren't booked so don't feel guilty if you get one :) and they would rather book the room with a king request than to have it sit empty just in case.

I didn't mind the king bed, but I hadn't made that request either. I was just traveling solo and had a preferred room. LOL I don't believe I put in any requests that trip. Oh well. I will just remember to let them know if anyone happens to come that needs one, they can take me out of it! LOL Thank you though, at least I know I wasn't keeping someone who needed a roll in shower out of a room. :)

We just got back from POP and had no idea there was a charge for peanut butter! DH went to get some one morning after we'd paid for our food and just brought it back to the table. No one said anything or asked him to pay. Oops!

Not all King rooms are HC. I recently returned from 9 nights at POP and was in a King room that was not accessible. I traveled with my DD and her family and our requests were for connecting rooms and ground floor. We were booked in standard pool view. We were placed in building 9, second floor. We were close enough to the elevator that being on the second floor was not a problem and we did get our most important request, which was the connecting rooms.

True, there are a handful of "traditional" king rooms...but those are far and few between and are by request only. :)

This is what I just found about the king rooms on easywdw:
"There are 2,621 at POP with double beds, 115 are handicap accessible with double beds. There are 81 King Bed rooms, 63 are handicap accessible King Bed rooms."
