You will love it! We are staying at All Star Sports for the first time this trip just for something different and it was a tad cheaper. But I told my husband, we will go visit Pop one time while we are there ;) Will miss it. But trying new, but next trip back to Pop!

I know last year when we booked bounce back FD. I wanted to stay at ASMO but when I called pop came out of my mouth. We we're think inking of upgrading the dining plan this year. If we did that it would make sense to stay moderate. Dh told me to swap if I want but zi'm having a hard time. WE have stayed at all levels but pop has been our home for the past 6 years.

Yes you do. We have a RO for 8/21 to 8/23. Then our FD package starts 8/23 to 9/6. So we will be checking in twice. They are pretty good about keeping you in the same room. a They have kept us in the same room the past few years.

Did you get your FD from a bounce back offer? Because the general public FD offer starts on 8/28. I'm getting there 1 day after you and leaving 1 day before you :). This will be our first 2 week trip.

Just 17 more days until we check in to our fav resort!
:yay:

Does anyone know if they have lactaid milk available to purchase?

If you're unable to change I would suggest maybe requesting the 60's section, top floor, and call to verbally request as close to memory lane as possible.. you might get lucky with somewhat of a lakeview!

This is exactly what we did for our 2009 trip and it worked out perfectly. Top floor was our most important request while the memory lane was less important. The view of the lake was good, not great or spectacular, but it beat looking at the parking lot.

10 minutes at a leisurely pace.

Preferred rooms are the closest to the main building, Classics Hall. With the Preferred Pool view rooms you're going to be in the 60's section, facing the Hippy Dippy Pool, in the section closest to Classics Hall. It is possible to get a king room connected to a room with 2 doubles, but it isnt guaranteed. Since youre already going to have a room in a prime location, I would make that the connecting rooms have a king and two doubles my only request.
Please realize that the preferred pool view king rooms are all Handicap accessible rooms. HCA rooms are in very limited supply and those who truly need them appreciate them not being taken ahead of time by those that really don't. It leaves those that have a true need fot them with no other option. :(

I would hope that the room assigner would take into account people with true medical need for an accessible room and place them first. But, sometimes there are accessible rooms left over after the guests with medical needs are placed.. which then they fill with guests who arent handicapped. Unfortunately thats on the resort if a handicapped guest doesnt get an accessible room, not on the guests that are in those rooms.

Yes we have a BB booked. We have booked them at least the last 6 years.

It would make sense to me that if they fill the accessible rooms that if they have a guest come in that actually needs that that an upgrade would be in order.

My husband ran the numbers last night and with free dining it only costs about $100-150 more to stay at a Mod than it is to stay at Pop and upgrade the dining. We love Pop, but with the prices being so close we figured we'd like to try out a change of scenery.

We are booked at POP with free dining from Sept 25-Oct 1. We did have to book a preferred pool view room, which i was thinking about trying to change once the free dining died down and some rooms opened up from cancellations, but now that DH sees how close it is to classic hall and busses he seems to want to keep it, which is fine. Will be our first time staying on site, can't wait!
POP was our first choice so i'm just so happy we were able to get it!

We're booked at POP for a few days in November with Free Dining. I got totally lucky getting in! Standard Pool room was all that was available, but that's fine as well. I've never stayed there, but it looks pretty awesome, honestly! Is it true that there are mini fridges in EVERY room?

Same here if we upgraded the dining a moderate would only be about 150.00 more for the 14 nights. But making adds for 14 nights is a bit of a pain. We spend at least 4 days at the wp's. I hate having to pack up for dinner but last year it seemed like we would only be there til 3 or so. I think the upgrade to a mod is about 1,000.00 and to upgrade the dining at pop is 850.00.

That's assuming you can get a standard room at a mod. It would have been $500 more for two of us to move to what was available at a mod. Might not be worth it.

Yes, that was between a standard room at CBR and a standard room at Pop.

Just got back from our yearly trip to the world. We stayed at bwv and had a great time, but we are all missing POP bad! Decided that next april we are

We have to move dates every year. It is usually only a day or 2 but it is easily done. As long as you call the BB number it is a breeze. If you call the regular disney number forget it. It takes a act of congress. You do have to move the dates within the fates the BB was offered.

thanks! If I cant move it far enough out, then we will just book POP anyway. There has always been at least a 20% off discount for our week there. The BB we booked only went to Dec 2015. BUT the week we just went in 2015 was covered in this BB so I am guessing the same week in 2016 should be covered. We always request and stay in BLD 9, we may stick with that request or ask for the Bld with Tramp backside. Yippeeee
