Here we go, time to head for the airport.

How long is the usual time wait for getting your bags back from magical express? Both times I stayed at Wilderness Lodge it was an hour or less. Just thought I ask.

I've never had the bags arrive in under 2 hours anywhere I've stayed. They tell you to plan on 3 hours.

I don't think there is an average time. I've had my bags in my room upon arrival and I've also had it take 3-4 hours.

My DD and I just spent 4 nights at Pop. 50s section, room 3335, had a nice lake view and we saw Fantasmic and Illuminations fireworks one night.

Hairdryer was still the mounted to the wall type.

Not a bad walk to Classic Hall and bus transportation.

We have stayed in 3334 before...love that area! So pretty!

I just checked in online! 56 days to go!

I only requested highest floor...I like the anticipation of "where will my room be" rofl!

Hoping for the best that they come early. Planning on hitting the parks after arrival and staying out till late in the night. Would hate to come back later in the night and find no bags.

Staying on property for the first time since 1976. We have an 8:30 am reservation at akershus. How long is the bus ride to epcot? And how long by car? Thanks

I always plan for one hour in transportation time....even if I am using my car. You just never know how long it's going to take. You also need to plan for the walk back to Norway....it's probably 10 minutes from the front gate or the international gateway.

Also, in my notes I have us arriving at the Pop bus stop at 8am and arriving to Epcot at 8:30. I'm not sure how long it would take by car but that link I posted should help!

We just got back from a FANTASTIC trip at Pop! We had THE BEST room. Absolutely loved it. It was room 5234. My only request was the 60s section and we ended up getting a GREAT room in that section with a lake view. It was quiet and very close to transportation and the food court. 60s section, building 5, second floor, lake view... the best!

Also we found the security bag check lines at Epcot to have the longest waits. So if you have bags (even a purse or fanny pack) and are going at park opening, allow 10-15 minutes for that.

Just booked a FL resident rate for POP (tues)3/17-(thurs)3/19. My wife and I have 3 more passes on our FL 4 park pass. My wife is a teacher and this is her spring break but we are going during the week. So excited. We usually do these FL resident passes every year because it's enough disney for us from Jan-June because we usually travel abroad during her summer break, so it works out for us to get our Disney fix!!

Our plan of action is to arrive early and try to check in, but if not, I opted for the option for them to text me if our room is ready. Regardless, we will head to a park early tuesday and go on from there. We basically did the same thing last year and the weather was perfect. Have there been any changes since last year to POP?

I am hoping for Buld 1- 50's what would be the best rooms on the bottom floor, stranded rooms. I have to send any requests to my TA so trying to get this all ready

amazon has a service for groceries where you fill up a virtual box and it ships for a flat fee, i think maybe $5.99? you will find it on amazon. i haven't used it yet but may. we are amazon prime members. you may have to be to use this shipping on amazon.

The lowest seasonal rates ("Regular") for Pop Century during these months are supposed to be Feb 22-Mar 5 and Apr 12-May 21. These aren't the lowest rates of the year but for the period you're asking about. If you travel during these dates plus there's availability with the current room rate special offer, that's likely to be your best deal.

Just booked a 7 night stay at POP from 4/22 to 4/30, we haven't stayed at POP in 10 years (we're ASMu people) but POP had a much better rate than any of the AS resorts during the period we were looking at. By the time we go it'll be more than a year since we were last at WDW, feels like forever!

I leave from Portland ME next Saturday morning. Hoping for clear weather (right now the prediction is 30% snow) for takeoff and switching planes in D.C.

While I'm at WDW, I plan on shipping a prepaid USPS box filled with goodies to my sister and her kids. Do I need to bring packing tape with me or will the resort have some for me to use? Thanks!
