Resort Thread Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT

This is great insight. I may have to seriously consider the tower. Having a legit kitchen with our toddler could be very nice.
The studios (both the OG and Tower) have a partial kitchen, not a full one. The Tower deluxe studios have a small dishwasher, the longhouses do not. Both have a small sink, mini fridge, toaster, and microwave. Plus Keurig. But no stove top or oven.

Having a fridge and dishwasher and lots of seating is what I liked. No not a full kitchen but room for baby things. Also the cubby adjacent to dining spot was great for convenient storage.

I appreciate the photos from the deluxe studio in the tower - it looks like a nice room. I apologize if this has been answered already, but do all the deluxe studios (tower) have balconies?

No, the Island tower is not very large and the hallways are not very long. The elevators are basically in the middle of the building. Leave off near the lobby or then you will get the 2nd floor. The elevators are right next to the lobby.

I assume if you like to take stairs over elevator that there are direct stairs from lobby to each floor? I am staying there in March and my husband and I always love a lower floor so we can take stairs. However, if the monorail is really loud I will ask for higher. We always prefer the longhouses because of just going up easy stairs.

Yes the Tower Deluxe Studios, and even the (2) Guest - Tower Duo Studios units all have a balcony. The Duo Studio units do have some very creative balconies especially on the 2nd floor. They basically overlook the flat roof of the front portico.

At the Polynesian Resort, all DVC units have a balcony.

Monorail is not noisy! I was on 3rd floor parking lot/resort view and it was quiet.

I did take the stairs in between floors to explore the garden viewing areas in the tower.
