I'm not sure where to put this question, but thought this might be an appropriate thread?

Does anyone know about how long it takes to walk from MK to Poly with the new path? I tried Google Maps but it's not recognizing that route no matter how I try to plug it in.

I just checked out the map, thanks so much! Great to have a visual too

What are the open dining options at the Poly currently? Is the pool bar by the Oasis pool open?

Here you go. Unfortunately the Oasis Pool Bar & Grill has not yet reopened (which frankly is my only true gripe after staying there).

Thank you! That’s disappointing, but good to know.

It’s just over a mile. Walking my normal casual walking pace it took me about 20 minutes. I’d post my Garmin pic, but it would just go sideways.

I just booked the Poly for next April. Currently I have a pool/marina view room. Should I change it? Is it super loud? We are staying there for 2 nights before we go on a cruise

Just back from 4 nt stay. Check in was easy at Pago Pago, and they have 2 dedicated rooms right off check in where you can change into shorts etc. if your room is not ready and then leave your luggage right at the bell services stand outside the building. This was a nice touch. Resort is quieter at some points but long lines for Tambu Lounge on the weekend. They were seating into O'hana to help with overflow. Mobile order easy for Kona and Capt. Cook's. Just a warning - buses to HS and AK are few and far between. There is one line (!) in the morning where you wait and then a bus for a set park pulls up. The driver gets out and seats those going to the park according to size of party. We waited half an hour for the AK bus on Monday morning. We did walk over to TTC and GF for the monorail to MK, but the resort launches were the fastest. They started 45 min before MK opening and ran all day (sometimes direct to MK, other times to GF and then MK).

Did you try walking over to the TTC? If so, was that any quicker?

What’s the status of construction? Noise, ect. Heading down in May.

TTC was pretty crowded for the monorail one morning. We did not take the ferry from TTC to MK, only from MK one evening at park close. Ferry was crowded but the CM said it would be a faster wait than the resort launch at that time of night. As I said earlier, resort launch in morning to MK was direct and fast.
Construction is everywhere. Did not notice "noise" as we were out all day. There are lots of trucks/workers around all day and it is busy with activity. New construction walls were up in different areas by the time we left. My husband really did not like it and missed the ease of getting the monorail right in the Great Ceremonial House, but others may not mind the quick walk to and from TTC.
