Are they working on the room remodels while the regular rooms are closed since only dvc is open?

No remodels while resorts are closed or partial closed. Disney does not have the cash flow at the moment for these types of upgrades.

For those staying there now.....is there In Room Dining yet? MDE seems to indicate that there is, but I haven’t heard any mention of it actually starting again yet. Thanks!

I saw it was available at YC and BCV since Monday when YC reopened. Haven’t seen any reports from other resorts but I’m curious as well!

Somebody in the Cakes thread over in the Disney Restaurants board mentioned that Grand Floridian is now taking custom cake orders, suggesting their Private Dining is back up and running too. I tried calling but their hours are 5pm-2am according to the message. I didn't realize they opened so late!

Wow! Neither did I! We’ll be there in about a week and a half. I’ll definitely have an answer by then Just was getting my hopes up with the other few resorts starting their service. Spending an evening in our room dining sounds dreamy right now. And if they have the ’Ohana offerings....even better!

I read a few pages back that the pork nachos were available again at Capt. Cook's but I'm not seeing them on the menu. Is it a "secret" item now? ... or am I going to have to sub in a bag of tostitos and the aloha pork sandwich?

We were staying at the Contemporary a couple of weeks ago and made a special trip to Capt Cooks because we had also heard the nachos were back. We were told they were not available yet but they were working on it.

I should be at Poly right now. Have to admit, it stings a little. ☹ Tonight is our friend’s birthday we travel with - we were supposed to be at LeCellier at 6:30 tonight to celebrate. We only canceled because of dual quarantine’s (FL and NJ). BBQ at their house Sunday instead. Yay

Ughhh....I totally get it. Spent my “spring trip“ watching YouTube videos of Disney, when I was supposed to be there for the Xmas present that I reserved with my parents. I saw today that Florida has approved increasing park capacity. Hoping that the numbers stay low for our trip. Really REALLY hoping that they stay low for December....the rescheduled trip with my parents

How early are the Poly busses currently arriving at HS? Are the HS busses packed in the morning? I’m wondering if we would get there earlier by driving or we would end up held outside the parking lot entrance?

I AM going in January unless they close the parks again. I don't care if I have to sit in my apartment for 2 weeks after.

Thanks! Yeah...every night it would flash up "Dinner at [name of restaurant] in 15 minutes." I looked at the calendar and could not find them anywhere. It was bizarre!
