We are waiting for the EWP to start as I write this post. It is 8:58 and I see it coming around to corner. I asked about the Quiet Pool closure, but nobody knows for sure (or they would't say)
Maui sounds WONDERFUL.. We did Aulani last May, but didn't make it to Maui unfortunately...next trip, maybe in 3 years to celebrate youngest DS college graduation!
October will be a GREAT time of year to visit WDW, imo! Will be also nice to have Epcot Food and Wine that time of year! Have been to WL and I think it is lovely, but Poly is on the monorail,(so convenient) so that would be my recommendation for a first visit! From what I hear, prepare to be SPOILED! 
) last night we decided to switch to the Beach Club. Our goal for this trip was to spend quite a bit of time at the resort and pool and do less park time. With the construction going on (and the fact that SAB is known as being such an amazing pool,) Beach Club had the slight edge. I'm sort of bummed, but that just means Poly next year! Thanks all for the info!! Enjoy your trips!

I'm not sure about the requests, but rooms are not assigned until about 3 days before arrival. I always call 4-5 days in advance to make sure they have my requests correct, and add anything not available during online check in. I'd recommend doing that just to be safe.
Your TA must make any requests.I know this has been asked/answered already, but I can't seem to find it…sorry!
If we booked through an agent, can we make our own requests for a room? I've asked my TA to change ours twice already and I feel bad asking her to do it a third, I feel bad bugging her again. After looking at touring plans though, I have specific requests I'd like to take a chance on
Also, is there a text box in the on-line check in option for such requests, I can't remember from the past…
Is there a more popular check-in/check-out day? We're checking in on a Sat...

RRB, this is a weird question, lol, but how well can you see into the Hawaii building rooms from the bungalows? We always stay on the third floor and like to leave our curtains open as much as possible. That was fine before the bungalows, obviously, and we've stayed a few times while they were under construction. Just wondering if you felt like you could see into the Hawaii rooms. (And no, we aren't walking around naked with the curtains open or anything, lol!)
Not a weird question at all. Here's the answer... there is only one window in the Bungalows facing the land, that window is the guest room window. That window is large and it exposes the guest room to the walkway so we drew the shades almost all the time. Also, unless someone is walking around naked in the Hawaii Building with the curtains drawn doing a hula dance, all the action is on the lake side of the Bungalows. The kitchen, living room, patio, master patio and plunge pool all look out over the water.
Yes, we could easily see directly into that bedroom from our third floor rooms in Hawaii, so well that we could see the pillows, decor, people sitting on the bed, etc. Keeping the curtains closed when you are in that bedroom in the bungalow is a good idea, lol.
