Do you get dessert? And what number do I call for this?

Yes. Bread pudding, also huge and delicious. It comes with some kind of sauce that was also really good. There is a private dinning button on your room phone.

Good Morning! We will be staying for the first time at the Poly this August, and opted to splurge and go for the CL Garden View. I was looking at room pictures, and the family and I were discussing pros and cons of first floor, vs second vs 3rd...In all our years of Disney vacations the only time we have had a first floor room was at the GF Sugar Loaf and the patio actually had a fence around it. We notice that at the Poly they do not. I figured this would be the best place to ask if anyone ever had safety concerns, as in people breaking in, housekeeping leaving the doors open, ect? We know there is a safe, but there is always that time someone leaves an ipod or laptop out.

We've never had a problem - stayed on ground level 3 times both GV and GV CL - we try to always use the safe though when we aren't in the room - it is easy and we feel safe with it.

So if the monorail is not running, is it better to catch the bus for Epcot at the Poly or the TTC? Also, how long should I plan to get to the MK or Epcot? What time should I leave my room if I want to make it for a pre-park opening ADR at MK? Thanks, everyone! I can't wait for our trip!

We had a Crystal palace reservation 40 minutes before park opening and monorail was running. Our reservation was at 820 and we left our room around 7:25...got there with plenty of time for pictures before checking in. It took us about 25-30 mins from the resort to the park, through security line and ADR check in line at the gate

Thank you for the quick response, much appreciated!

Absolutely you should do it!!! We ordered it twice this week....one of my favorite meals on Disney property!! It was about $53 including gratuity, and the meal was more than enough for two adults. There is also pot stickers, noodles and veggies under the meat plate. Very delicious
This is a great option! I'm definately doing this! It will be enough food for my husband and I. I can just imagine sitting on our balcony enjoying this feast! Thanks for posting!!!!:thumbsup2

I'm a little confused. Is the monorail up and running? If there are modifications how's it going?

It is up and running during the day most days. Most of the work is being done overnight. I called each morning to the front desk to confirm the schedule each day just in case. They were really helpful.

Two days they have it shut down during the day, but we found that the resort line was back online early one day.

It is up and running, just on a modified schedule which slightly changes week to week. We were there from Jan 22-30th and did not affect us at all, and we had a toddler that needed breaks in the afternoon. The front desk can give you a schedule for the week you are there

I know :-(. It's making our August trip $$$ ugh.

We bit the bullet and just booked it as a split stay between ASmo and then Poly because the money exchanged. But it's our only family vacation time allowed with our work schedules. But man I miss the almost at pars days.
