While I agree with Pete's synopsis of the movie strategy that Disney may have for Marvel, I think the podcast crew has forgotten about a very important item, that being gaming.
Disney video games up until now have been horrific at best, with a few minor exceptions (Toy Story mania is fun, but gets old really quick). I believe that Disney is noticing that home video game spending overtook home movie spending (DVD/Bluray) for the first time in 2009 and wants a piece of the action. Soemof the best licenced games out there are Spiderman, Xmen, Ultimate Alliance etc.
