Disney's photos of my kids....

You just look through the pictures...and when you see people you reconize....chances are they in your family :goodvibes Just kidding. They line the wall of Shutters with all the photos. They tend to group them together by occasion...so all the Goofy character meet photos will be together on one wall while the next wall will have all of the tea with windy shots...the character breakfast photos in one area...and so on..so all the candid shots around the pool will be displayed together in a certian area....It takes awhile but you have to look through them all. Of course if you haven't done the character breakfast yet or photos with the princesses...you wouldn't need to look in those areas.

I really didnt see too many around except with the characters. we got to CC early that morning and did our beach time than so there wasnt any on the beach when we were there. I was very happy with the photos esp the ones they took with the white background. we have one family shot of us that I just love..

Can anybody remember about what time and where they photographers were on Castaway Cay? We saw pictures of kids at shutters but I never saw a photographer that day. Thanks!

Both cruises I swore that I wouldn't spend a fortune on photos but they are so good. I bought the package and then some. :teeth:

The DCL photographers have taken beautiful pictures of my kids. My favs are the ones at Castaway Cay. They grace the halls of my home as we speak.

Can we see the pictures? Would you mind posting a couple? I love to look at the pictures on this board -- I can't wait until we cruise.

The candid shots that the photographer took are my absolute favorite :sunny: ...they are not really candid...my girls are looking right at the camera with a nice smile...but they were not the ones we stood in line for and struck a pose...they were of them out and about on the ship. All of the "candid" shots were for me suprise photos....because I never saw the photographer take the shots of my kids. The other poster made a good point...as not to be shy...and just ask the photographer to take some shots. I'm going to do that this trip :goodvibes
I just finished enjoying your scrapbook pages of your cruise. They are gorgeous! I am very impressed with every layout, and wish I could create like you. I have one question -- how did you print your journaling on vellum? I tried once and the ink just smeared -- it never dried.

Wow! Thanks everyone for all of this info!!!

Ok....can I been any more excited now????? (I ONLY have a year and 3 months to wait!!!) *yikes*!!

karen :)

For 6 x 8 frames you can find them at craft shops like Michaels. I have purchased several there. I have also matted them and put them in larger frames. I always get a few of the DCL frames that are made in the 6x8 size also so that I have some at home.

We always spend a fortune at Shutters, and on our last family cruise the staff there knew us by name. I got the most incredible Magical Moments certificate from them as well as a signed picture by the captain and a signed pic of Mickey and Minnie. We absolutely love the staff there.
