Planning to go in 2014! Not sure when yet!
July 3-8, 2 bedroom with son & family! If I can book more at 7 months, fine...we thoroughly enjoyed being there for the 4th in 2011!![]()
Just curious how you got a AAA rate?
Can someone tell me how close the actual beach is to this property? Via Google Satellite, it looks to be a drive at least. What are the access options when staying here? Thanks all for your help!

Please confirm / correct. It sounds like the 'pool house' is on the beach and you can access the beach from there. At the pool house there is an arcade, kids activities, food, and restrooms. There is a shuttle that goes from the resort to pool house. The resort has a smaller pool (looks to be the 'quiet pool').
We have 3 kids. 5DD, 3DD, 9mo DS. All love the water. We are going to WDW in November and want to start building the excitement with a summer vacation.
Thanks again for the input!
It may be in here somewhere, but I could not find any tips on places to go and things to do for an adult only trip. We are booked for the 1st week in June. We are looking for dinner ideas and places to go and see. Thinking about a boat experience (dolphin cruise?) and interesting things to see. I am a beach and pool person, but DH is not. He will give me a couple of days to lounge around the pool and beach! No tennis or golf (DH has back issues). We are already planning to day trip to Savannah and to check out the outer banks areas. Any ideas will be appreciated!
Is your DH into nature at all? We're two adults, go off-off season when beach and pool just aren't options. We love walking around at Coastal Discovery Museum, Sea Pines Forest Preserve, Fish Haul Creek Park (ocean walk mostly). Harbortown, enjoying the marina and the shops. As far as resturaunts, what type of food do you enjoy? Somehow, as soon as I smell the air around me at HHI, I'm all about the seafood (except or my breakfast-Dunkin Donuts, and dessert-gelato).
