Disney's HHI...WOW!

My DH, DMom, DMom's BF and myself just returned from 4 nights in Hilton Head, and wow were we impressed! I never thought I would ever want to vacation there, but we decided to take my Mom so that she could enjoy the beach, and Savannah since it's only an hour away. We were all very impressed with everything at the resort. In fact, my DH and I are thinking of taking a trip back there next year! If there's anyone out there who's contemplating a vacation there--DO IT, you won't be sorry! I'm going to try and get my TR started in the next few days, so be on the lookout for it!

Ive been a fan since our first visit in 1999 and added on twice there for 11 month summer window. We are headed back June 5 for 4 nights as we have for the last 4 years. We consider this our relaxing vacation..then we do wdw at xmas (OKW). Look forward to your trip report..I'll do the same when I return.

It's really a special place. We loved our weekend trip over Halloween last fall, and it's only a lack of more vacation time that keeps me from buying some HHI points! (I do look, but I have to hold the line somewhere.)

I'm also looking forward to reading your TR!

We also love HH and bought our 1st set of DVC points there for the 11 month booking in summer. We had actually went to HH in 2000 to look at a different timeshare and we saw Disney had a place there also, so we went to visit and bought on the spot.

Well what can I say about HHI? We love the resort, the restaurants, the golf, you name it!

The kids always make new friends there and there are usually tears when they have to say goodbye at the end of the week.

We too have gotten into a nice little pattern of HHI in early summer and then WDW in FAll.

I think we might switch that around soon, maybe for 2011. HHI as well as Disney need to be experienced at different times of the year.

Oh and riding bikes everywhere for the weekend is certainly different than what we do at home.

WE LOVE IT!!!!! And will be there in a little over a week!!

I am SOO HAPPY you all loved it!! I was thinking of you while you were there and wondered how it was going. Isn't just wonderful?? Such a unique Island....I can't wait to get back there this summer- and I am really looking forward to your TR!
