Where can I get more info on their activities ? I just got a "spring sampler" from them today, but no descriptions.

I'm impatient and can't wait to find out what some of these are...
Mission to Mars
Pirates of the Calibogue
Disney Discovery Club
Fishin' Pole Playhouse
Teen Gotcha
Gyotaku
Evening of Magic
Kids Night Out

Anywhere I can find more info or can someone who's been post a brief description (along w/approx ages if possible.)

Thanks!!!

We love this resort and have been 5 times. There are wonderful activities for all ages. You can call the resort directly and ask them to send you the current week's schedule. It will explain those, but you won't know what is really sceduled until right before you go. Our son has gone to kid's night our- take them to a movie and pizza and then back to community hall; Marsh exploration is fun;Campfires are weekly events; too many to remember;make sure you find time to meet "Shadow" while you are there(there is a real golden lab that has the whole resort captivated).

Pirates of the Calibogue, I believe is a treasure hunt for families.

Disney Discovery Club is a 3 hour activity-for kids 3-6 and 7-12. The one my daughter did last year(3-6 yr olds) was called Beautiful Butterflies-they made butterflies(arts & crafts), had stories about butterflies, dressed up with wings and antennae and went to the Butterfly Garden where they looked for butterflies and signs of caterpillars(holes in leaves etc), then they had a puppet show. She loved it.

Fishin Pole Playhouse is a puppet show(this was held during the Beautiful Butterflies thing and what the CMs took the kids to)

Gyotaku is kids painting a dead fish and then slapping the fish on a Tshirt to make a print. They seem to love it, I think it is nasty! LOL

Evening of Magic is B'Lou doing a magic show

Kids Night out(ages 5-12)-it says on my recreation sheet "Disney Detectives" so I guess they had the kids do an activity with detecting. They also get pizza I believe. I know they have also taken kids to amovie instead of that activity.

For Teen Gotcha it says for ages 13-17 "Join in this fun game of elimination and surprise: but I have no idea what that means. LOL

Great descriptions! Just to add (we just got back and did several activities) about the Evening of Magic. It's for the whole family, held in Community Hall. I was really looking forward to it, but when 7:00 came, it was so cold, rainy, and windy, I just couldn't bring myself to walk down there. I know Mission to Mars was offered when we were there, I'll try to hunt up my activities sheet.
