The Kevin egg is so cute!!!
Probably but not 100% sure. The whole week of Easter is Generally busy. When do they take down the eggs? I arrive late nite on Wed 4/12. So basically for Thursday-will the eggs still be there?
Thanks I would love to see them.Probably but not 100% sure. The whole week of Easter is Generally busy.
Seems consistent with 2022No DDP logo on the menu![]()
Thank you! I was actually wondering about the main building/lobby refurb so I’m glad you mentioned that. So people are expecting that to carry into the holiday season huh? Not a deal breaker but I know my wife (hasn’t stayed on property at DW and this would be our first ever trip as a family!) would love to be able to experience the lobby in its full holiday glory…I would say that is a safe assumption to make.
It appears they will be in the middle of or finishing up the main/lobby building refurb at that time. Most or all of the outer buildings would be complete by then. And even if they were not, they would be blocked off and not available for booking.
You don’t need to request one now. BC and Conch are finished and SL and Sago are in process. We are going mid August and staying at the Grand. We have stayed before and LOVE it, last being 2018. We have outer bldg. booked (only available). Will there be alot of construction going on? Are most of the rooms refurbished or will they be by then? Can we request a refurbished room?
I'm weirdly bummed about this for my trip in April! That walk is such a nice walk. It's one of my favorite features of the resort. I almost never take the monorail anymore. The walkway is not…short, it’s a walk around the lagoon. My husband I push two strollers on the way home and will miss this spontaneous choice because it’s a nice option. (He also like to run it in the morning) But honestly I can live without it this time when we travel in April. My husband was the one cheering me on pushing the stroller when I was more than happy to wait or fold down stroller for the boat. The only time it was really something I valued was after fireworks and I’m thinking we will just skip that this time and watch from the GF which is fun and easy. Or wait till monorail time is decent if we stay in park.
Best of both worlds! Splitting the Epcot resort area (specifically BC/YC) with MK resort area (GF) is my absolute favorite way to visit WDW. I am sure your boys will have a magical time!Officially moved our reservations! We'll be staying at the Beach Club for our first four nights (starting the Sunday after Thanksgiving) and moving over to GF for our final five nights! Can't wait! One of my first memories of a DW trip as a child was staying at the GF with my family. Now, our boys will experience the GF as one of their first DW resorts and I am so excited!
