Anyone know when the construction is expected to end for GF? Do you think it would still be an issue for early Sept 2023?

Donald and Goofy are currently hanging out with guests in the DVC lobby. Taking pictures (together or separate), hugging, non-verbal interactions, lots of dancing, watching TV with the kids, generally being awesome.

We arrive at the GF on Tuesday - we are staying Club Level and we've never stayed there before (a big splurge). We are only there until Friday but please let me know if there's anything we shouldn't miss at the GF. Thanks!

You can see the menu on the Disney World website. Just type “Private Dining at Grand Floridian Resort” in the search bar, then click on menu, then choose breakfast or dinner.

My sister and I are celebrating our 50th anniversary of our first trip to WDW in 1973. I currently have a reservation for April for a GF Villas Resort Studio which I booked through Disney, not points. I understand they are finishing up renovations on Boca Chica in the new Mary Poppins light blue/pink decor. Will those rooms be any different than the rooms in Big Pine Key? Is it possible we may be in either one of those two buildings?

If you booked a Resort Studio you will only be put in the Big Pine Key building, since that is where the DVC rooms are located. Boca Chica is part of the main resort. The rooms look exactly the same, the only difference is in Boca Chica you will not receive a microwave (or toaster if you request one.) Enjoy!

Back in November we were lucky enough to stay at the newly renovated 2 bedroom suite in Boca Chica thanks to a friend I met on here who became more like family.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. The suite breaks away from the Mary Poppins theme, and has a Princess theme. A few standout details: the guest room had the most amazing Princess wall mural, and the headboard in the master bedroom had the birds from Cinderella! The view from this suite is stunning in itself, though that is not new for this suite. Castle and firework views. Simply gorgeous. I’ll share pics in a few messages, since it’ll only let me attach 10 at a time.

Some more… the suite had 3 entryways, one for each bedroom and one for the main living area which has a stunning ceiling.

3 full bathrooms as well, so pretty and each completely unique. Pretty Princess art throughout as well.

I would classify this as a once in a lifetime pixie dust upgrade. The suite is absolutely gorgeous. Your new best friend is the nicest guy ever.

We enjoyed our time at the GF, too. We enjoyed meeting so many new DIS friends like you.

I'll second that! What a treat, and wow, that suite....I was glad to get to see it~ still have the picture of that mural on my phone.
