When do they take down the Christmas tree and gingerbread house? We check in Jan 3 and wondering if they’ll still be there even if the gingerbread house is closed.

My wife and I are going to be at RPC in late January. Has there been any word on the band coming back? Also, has there been any rumours about Victoria & Albert’s reopening? Our anniversary is the 21st, and we would love to go back to V&As for it. If it isn’t open, we will have to settle for Narcoosee’s (which is a crazy statement to make).

Hey there! I’d assume it will also be 60 days in advance to book. When bookings resume, I’ll be sure to get that information for you! The booking calendar goes to the beginning of January, however, I do not see any times posted yet. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you both!

It’s further out than 60 days. When we went in 2017, we booked in July for our January (anniversary) trip. I searched my email to verify that, and I have the confirmation from July 31. They did call us about a month or so before our reservation day to ask if we were still interested in moving into the Queen Victoria Room (which we very much did).

Sadly, the phone number is not connected, and I would doubt the email is being answered if they aren’t open.

It’s a set menu and price. The Prince Albert Room (the main dining area) is a 7 or 10
Course meal (if I remember correctly). The Queen Victoria Room is a 10 Course only. There is a wine pairing option as well.

We checked into the Yacht Club on Jan 3rd of 2021 and I was surprised to find that most of the Christmas decorations were still up, although we didn't go over to the Grand Floridian during that trip.

They have been taking down the Grand Floridian tree and gingerbread house right after Jan 1st in past years. It may still be up on Jan 3rd, or it might be the day they take it down.

we finally have an upcoming trip here in a couple weeks, seems so surreal after so many rescheduled trips. I have been almost afraid to get excited about it and now have so much to do. We haven’t been since pre covid and I’m wondering if the microwave is still at gaspers and available for anyone to use? Thanks!

FWIW I checked my pix from last year. I was at gf while dh golfed and walked around often exploring. I have pix of both poly and gf lobbies with trees and decor still up on 1/4-5. The gingerbread house was not put out last year but I have seen it go down the Sunday after NYE past trips.

I am unexpectedly staying in RPC 12/31-1/2. Pinch me.

Dh is golfing again and wants me amused so if I must let’s do Deluxe room BWI cl 12/29-31 followed by the GF. He’s never stayed bwi cl and he will enjoy our guaranteed water view.

We had the Merriest Party 12/3 . I told dd that the QS is basically closed at the party . Like I think you can get a hot dog if you are desperate ! Also no alcohol .
So we monorailed from poly to gf and grabbed a seat in ER. Dds beverage was interesting ! She always gets the cheese plate and mine was a mushroom n sausage flatbread . @mrsap and family popped in before we left too!
It was a nice way to start our holiday night ! Seeing gf lobby and the GB house , plus seeing an old friend? Perfect
