Disneys First 10 Night Cruise

Anyone who could try to start something about what Bobby posted obviously has too much time on their hands.

He and Cindy are two of the nicest most friendly people Ive ever met and their kids are dolls. I had the pleasure of talking with both of them numerous times during the cruise and my kids played with theirs for the enitre cruise

The fact of the matter is that YES we did have the first ever 10 day cruise.. Did we ask for it NO... BUT IT WAS GREAT!!! and WE HAD AN AWESOME GROUP OF DISERS TO SHARE IT WITH.

Dony worry Bobby - weve got your back!!!!

Just want to chime in here to say that ANYONE who has ever met Bobby (MoranClan) would KNOW that he is not the kind of person to say or do something just to irritate another person. You can tell just by looking at him and his beautiful family that they are good people. Very generous, too, since Bobby and his family made many, many magnets for us all, then spent their first hours on the ship delivering them to all of our cabins!! Now THAT was a picture of unselfishness, it was hot and humid onboard that first day, and there he was, walking up and down each deck, just to deliver the magnets, many of which were wonderful surprises for us!!!

As for the fact of us being on the first EVER Disney Magic 10-night cruise, it is just that; a fact. We didn't plan this, it just happened, and we just so happened to have enjoyed (almost) every minute of it! I could not have imagined meeting a better group of "strangers" than what we had onboard for our cruise. We had a large core group of DISers who met a few times as a group, but who saw each other daily, sometimes several times a day. Each and every person I met onboard was nice, down to earth, and eager to talk and be friendly. I feel that the other DISers on our cruise really added something extra to the entire experience, something I never expected :grouphug:

To Bobby and all of the other cruisers that were on Disney's first ever 10 day cruise!!!!

Although I would have loved being on the Magic with you all, I was thrilled for you all and searched the Dis for updates and reports more than once daily!

Please don't let the negative comments from others dust any of the pixie dust and magic out of your trip! :sunny:

MoranClan--Bobby

I just want to let you know how much we enjoyed your updates while on the cruise and the pictures that you have shared. Thanks for taking time out of your vacation to do that.

No matter what those other posters say, you are the first 10 night cruise! No one can take that away from any of you that were on the ship. Don't let those posters get you down!

Hey, I'm jealous!!!!!! Great pics, beautiful family, 10 days, pay for 7 Who wouldn't be jealous. Thanks for sharing!

BTW-we followed all your posts throughout the trip. Glad everyone made it back safe and sound.

Very generous, too, since Bobby and his family made many, many magnets for us all, then spent their first hours on the ship delivering them to all of our cabins!!

I have to say what a thrill it was for my family to see them on the door when we arrived. I hadn't told them about them and MY DH was really excited.

No one planned to be onboard for 10 days, it just happened. Sometimes nature makes plans that even Diser's can't.

Bobby thanks again for all your hard work! While I didn't spend much time at all the Dis meets, I enjoyed those people I did meet (am sorry I didn't get to meet a lot more) and enjoyed seeing people at the shows and passing in the halls.

I never chime into these board debates but after meeting Bobby I will also make sure I join in to defend a fellow FIRST 10 NIGHT DISNEY CRUISER. I can't reiterate enough how great Bobby, Cindy and their children are. Completely selfless and wouldn't try to "upstage" anyone. I don't think it is in their nature at all! You have all already heard how wonderful they were delivering magnets to all of us so our doors were decorated before our staterooms were even ready!!! Bobby and Cindy and their kids greeted you with complete kindness anytime you ran into them!

Don't let the hecklers bother you Bobby!!! We are all here behind you!

Stepping in to defend Bobby(MORANCLAN)...I had the pleasure of meeting him and his wonderful family on the 10 day cruise! I missed the DIS meets(not sure why or how???) but was able to meet ****y and Cindy and was also the recipient of magnents that truly added to the magic of the voyage(my three boys loved them, and I will for sure be adding them to my scrapbook!)

I would do another cruise in a heartbeat, but alas my budget cannot afford one for a couple years!

Docking in Lauderdale and seeing the Wonder pull in was an awesome sight and I truly enjoyed meeting everyone!

I regret to say that we never got to meet Bobby and his wife. His daughter came to our door and introduced herself and set up our magnets. We got to the DisMeet too late due to illness (I was still recovering from heat stroke from being at Universal) and I missed meeting a lot of people.

Also, FYI, we found out from a CM the next morning that both the Wonder and the Magic had crew parties on the forward decks. I asked if this was routine and he said no, it was a special circumstance since the crew didn't have to get the ship ready that afternoon for another sailing. So DCL decided to throw them parties. They needed to unwind I'm sure.

Was I the only one who wasn't up on deck to see the Wonder?!?
