Disney's Finger Scan

I'm glad the new scanners may work better. The end of the multiple line trick.

I actually like the fingerprint technology. I think it would be a big boost in preventing identity theft if it's used at ATM's and at retail venues. Instead of PIN numbers, just scan the fingerprint. At the checkout, swipe your credit card and your fingerprint. No one except you could use your debit or credit cards. Well, it sounds good anyway! I see it as an identity thing, not a chipping away of our civil liberties thing.
Me too. :thumbsup2
It really would be a good idea to use finger scans for identity purposes.
I can't misplace a finger.
However, I have misused a finger. :rotfl2:

Don't listen to the article. It's not true at all. This new system does the same thing as the old one. It uses the biometrics of one finger, it doesn't take your fingerprint. I repeat this system doesn't take your fingerprint.

When we were at MGM Studios last Friday 8/25 this worked real well. You can actually see where you are placing your finger, instead of the old way where you hoped you had placed it correctly. You walked up slid your pass in, briefly held your finger on the scan, and walked through.
