As you can tell from the video, our group was a nice size. The youngest was a little girl who was three with her older sisters, around 6 and 8. They were just with their mom on the tour. Then there was another family of four besides us with two daughters, around 7 and 12. The folks in red are us and our kids were DD, 9 and DS, age "12-next-month."
He will be "14-next-month" when we go this Christmas and I know we got to do the tour just in time as there is no way he'd have been as playful this time around. (Too grown up now, sigh.)
A re-cap since the video skips around a lot:
You'll check in and start with the exciting announcement that our group has been specially picked to help clean up the Magic Kingdom. A call will come in that steals away that excitement: Hook's best hook is missing and he's threatened to do something dastardly if we don't get it back. Pan has left us map with clues, which takes us to the central hub, then to Tomorrowland, through Sonny's, to the Wishing Well, over the Cinderella's fountain, around to adventureland, through, frontierland, then to liberty square, doing all kinds of crazy things along the way.
The funniest part is most people don't even give you a second look!
The private roped off area with Pan and Wendy lasts for a nice 10-15 minutes where they just talk, play, and take pictures with the kids.
Then we all walked around to Philharmagic, were brought in to a special area, and seated front and center. Peter made us all crow when we saw him in the show.
We got a Magical moments certificate afterwards.
My suggestion would be to try to do this later in your trip, after you've done the rides and touring yourselves so there is no dissention in the group about wanting to do other things as you race through all the lands.
