I remember when my now 37 year old daughter, who when she was 11 or 12 took a picture of every float. What a waste of cheap film. They didn't come out so good. I better get her back before April 18th. Of course her birthday is April 16th so I think I have a great excuse.

I remember how I felt when they cancelled it back when I was 'young'....back when it traveled through DL not CA. I was devistated as it was a family favorite!! Then they brought it back to CA and I was so excited bec MY children would be able to see it...and we did...many times! (I'm even tickled my kids get to see CE this year...how cool is that!!) NEVER thought that would happen!

I have a feeling that just bec it's ending its run RIGHT NOW...some how...some way they will incorporate it into something else or bring it back in years to come!

Also, my guess is that with WOC coming soon and that being a night show...it will be too hard to control crowds for both.

We will be there from April 3-8. I am so glad that we will see it. I have not seen it in over 20 years.

That is my all time favorite parade and I was so looking forward to seeing it this summer at DL/CA. Wouldn't you know, the one summer we don't go to WDW, the EP will be there! Hopefully it will stay through the end of Sept. as we will be back in WDW then.

Well this just sucks! We have never seen it and our trip is April 20-25.

Yeah, they had better bring it back. To me, that is just pure Disneyland, you know?

I too remember the last time EP left for good. I still have my special ticket (keeps going up in value!). I hope it does come back to DL as the MSEP.

So it's only going to be there for 1 month. Wow. My DNephew is performing in it as one of Pinocchio's donkey boys. We plan on being there opening day-Friday, March 19th as well as as many times as we can before it goes away for good.

So with our So Cal AP we are blocked out 14 of the 31 days it's running. Oh, and he's off on Sun. and Mon. So that only leaves us with 9 days to see him perform. Bummer! I guess we'll have to plan on going March 19, 25 or 26th, and April 16th the last performance of his we can see. I was hoping it would run at least one more week. Oh well.

It is surprising to me that they (Disney) would go through all the rehearsals, fixing up the floats, etc. for only a month. Guess it means they are thinking of premiering WOC week of April 20th?

ADDED-maybe I should upgrade to next AP level? Then I can go on basically any day except Sat. Mmmmm? Oh, and DD's softball game schedule hasn't come out-what do you think are the odds that at least one of the days we can go (of the 3) she will have a game? It would only cost $140 to upgrade. Our AP don't expire until Oct. so that would give us plenty of time to go more. Also, DD's school is changing to traditional calendar in this summer and now she will be off all of July and half of August. which is completely blocked out for us with SC AP. I guess I just talked myself into getting the Deluxe.

DEP is going over to WDW to be part of their summertastic showing...

It also notes that there is no plans for it to return back to DLR.

and theres a semi official date for WoC out on that as well...

Disney's Electrical Parade will be shown at DCA from 3/19/2010 - 4/11/2010 and again 4/16/2010 - 4/18/2010. At that time, it will be featured as part of Walt Disney World's Summer Nightastic. At this time, there is no scheduled return of the Parade to the Disneyland Resort.
