Just drove by CSR. Not sure what’s going on but crazy number of cars heading in, backed up on Buena Vista, looked like things backed up around the GDT. Looked popular! May have just been a temporary rush, not sure.

And of course when I drove back by around 2:45ish all looked normal, from the road at least!

What has the bus situation at the tower been like lately? They're the last stop for theme park busses. Long waits for a bus?

Would we be better walking over to the Casitas stop?

Currently have a standard CSR room booked for May but thinking of upgrading to a Tower room.
According to website it would be about $400 more. Should I upgrade? Does calling WDW versus doing it yourself on the App help lower price at all? Ugh-I don't know if worth it or not??

I had a Tower room booked for May but I changed it to a standard room as I wanted to be closer to a pool and didn’t want to be at last bus stop.

I also have a standard room booked for April and thought about upgrading to a tower room too, it would’ve been about $400 for me as well and I watched a couple of room tour videos on You Tube and while the tower rooms are a bit bigger, I just didn’t feel it was worth $400. I’d rather spend that money on more food!

Calling will not lower the price (unless you are an annual passholder and your account doesn’t show AP rates, an annoying but known glitch, then you have to call to see about AP deals).

When we were there for Christmas it was GDT and Casitas. Then I believe they opened Cabanas not long after. Is Ranchos open now as well? We will be back in May. Thank you

Edit: Nm, went back 3 pages and got my answer (I think?). Casitas and Ranchos closed; GDT and Cabanas open.

Has anyone been able to be picked up by Uber some where other than in front of the towers?

No. Our Lyft was only allowed to pick up and drop off in front of GDT’s main lobby.

Hey all! Here's a video tour of Gran Destino/CSR - fun video to get excited for upcoming trips! More amenities have opened since this video. Man I wish Toledo would open. Such a gorgeous spot. They should allow guests to at least enjoy the ambience with a drink from Dahlia if they chose.

I would only stay in a Tower room at Coronado. My favorite hotel on property.
