No word on when. CSR is due for a refurb, and it's likely to include some construction (bathroom remodels).I've heard rumors of some refurb happening at CSR soon, but I don't see anything in the first posts here. Anyone know any more details on when or what may be done?
I think they have some 'test' rooms setup now. There won't be any photos going around until there is an official selection (I think)..I have no idea when that would be. It's just the information I've gleaned from reading around. I also have no idea if any guests are chosen to see the 'test' rooms.I've heard rumors of some refurb happening at CSR soon, but I don't see anything in the first posts here. If you have even a single YA child under 18, Disney will go out of its way to help make sure you have connecting rooms.
Thanks for the info! I have DD14, DS16, DD19, DD27, and her boyfriend, plus DH and me. We want to have DH, me, DD14, and DS 16 in one room, and then DD19, DD27, and her boyfriend in the other room. I hope they will accommodate us!
Hi all, We will be at CSR from 7/16-7/23. Which means it will be HOT! So we have planned one afternoon to go to the pool and lounge around. My kids are DD14 and DS16. I looked at the pictures of the dig site pool and it looks like there is a ball court nearby? Is that basketball? If so, do people play or are there balls around to use? My kids are basketball fanatics and might enjoy shooting around or a pick up game (especially if they can jump in the pool afterwards!). Are there other entertainment options from noon-5pm for teenagers? Also, from looking at the pictures, it appears as if no pool toys are allowed, such as noodles or floats. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!!
We were at CSR 3 years ago and had to walk to the main building to refill our mugs. I have seen posts about the pool snack bar having a refill station but it was not available when we were there. Is this only seasonal? We were there in November and will be returning in November this year. It would be so convenient to get refills and breakfast from the pool area. Does anyone know if the snack bar is year round or just during peak times? Thanks.
It is not self serve, bar tender has to refill the mug.We were there in October of last year & DH got his mug refilled at the pool bar several times. The only thing I'm not sure of was whether or not it was self-serve or if the bartender filled it...maybe someone else can chime in.

They really didn't. They were a little rowdy at the quiet pool but I have a young child so I'm use to noise...Did they affect your trip negatively? Starting to wonder if I should take a chance and switch to mid-December trip..
We have a Preferred King with FD booked at CSR (11/28-12/6) at the moment.

Hello all. I am new to this so bear with me. My husband and I are planning to come Sept 5-10 and staying at CSR for the first time and really excited about it. He hasn't been to Disney in 30 years so I am excited to show him all the changes. For all of you that are veterans at staying at CSR, I have a very strange question. How are the beds? Are they soft, hard, good? What is your take. I appreciate it.
