Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

I was concerned with BC. I think that we may go ahead with BC and enjoy a drink or two or three before dinner each evening. I think with Christmas it is a good idea to take it easy and get out of the parks in the late afternoon.

Room charges are charged to your credit card when the reach $500 at value resorts, $1000 at mod resorts, or $1500 at deluxe resorts. You can go to the front desk at any time to pay off these charges before they max out. If you want to pay off your final bill with cash or gift cards, do it on the evening before you check out, since they will charge your credit card for any outstanding balance in the very early hours of the morning you check out.

I just got back from CSR. My CC got charged once we went over $500. Not sure if it is a setup issue or what but we were charged 3x during our stay.

I was told you should come to the desk to pay with gift cards by your last evening before you check out. Also, I have read that your credit card gets charged when you accumulate more than $500 in charges, so you might stop by the desk to pay off periodically during your stay if your charges are getting to that level.

I went to the desk the day we checked out. They credited my CC for the amount of GCs I had. No problems at all!

Yeah, I'm not sure what the determining factor is these days, but it doesn't seem to be strictly on resort level. I was at AS Music (value) the other day and had a $1000 resort charge limit on my account.

Possibly the type of CC, as some might indicate a higher limit or income level? Or possibly your history of stays at WDW? If their system indicates someone has spent $50k in WDW stays over the last few years?

Or it could just be the CM who checks you in...lol?

They always tell me they have setup $1000 and ask if that will be enough.

Hello! I've never stayed at CSR and would appreciate any advice as we are staying there this November. If I want to request a building would you suggest Cabanas 8A/B or Casitas 5? I am interested in a quick walk to the dig site pool, transportation and being somewhat close to the main building. Are the rooms themed differently depending on which section they are in? And if I have groceries delivered, is there a fee I have to pay because it is a convention resort?

Thank you!

Here now, checked in yesterday and we have a pod style coffee maker in room.

Sweet! I know they'll supply pods but now we can bring Pilon!

I was looking at the online check in and it doesn't seem to have a spot to request connecting/adjoining rooms which we would prefer since we are traveling with the ILs and would like to be next to them (connecting would be better so we could put DD to bed and crack the door and hang out with them)
What's the best way to request that and our preference for cabanas 8b?
Call/fax/e-mail?

It's always best to call the main reservation line and add your requests to your reservation.

My mother and I are sharing a room. We will be driving there but coming from 2 different locations. We will only use one car when we are there but how does that work. Will we be able to get 2 parking passes. We only need one for the parks but we need one for her car to be in the parking lot at the hotel.

You can get 2 parking passes with no problem. Just ask.

My parents have a very early departure flight, I think somewhere around 7am. Will DME still take them to the airport? Or does that only run during certain hours? Do they need to let someone at the resort know the night before?

As long as they have signed up for the ME service, they will be picked up no matter what time the flight is. :thumbsup2

Hi! I went back a number of pages and didn't see this, but apologize if it's a repeat. I tried to do online check in for our trip in less than 60 days and it's not giving me casitas as an option. Anyone else have this? We're in a standard room, but I was pretty sure at least two of the casita buildings aren't preferred.

This happened to me too. I could only chose Cabanas or Ranchos. It seems like there's a glitch with the online check in. You can call and put in a request over the phone for Casitas!:thumbsup2

Here now and I'm not happy. I called twice to request casitas and requested it in the online checkin. They said they had no record of any request and I got dumped to the ranchos... The one place I didn't want to be. The second time I called they even said that they had my request on file. The resort is beautiful but I ain't happy. Any thoughts on what I can do?
