We were going to book a FD BB for Dec 9th-16th

You could always request it, or if you are put in a non-renovated room upon arrival go to the front desk and request such a room change. It doesn't mean you'll get it though. Room requests are not guaranteed, especially at a busy time of year or when it involves limited stock. So no harm in requesting, but don't set your heart on it either, if that makes sense.

How do you get a bounce back offer at these days? We haven't seen a BB offer in our room in years.

They are supposed to be in a "welcome packet" folder, easily overlooked. You can also just call the number 8844 from your room and ask.

We are staying BC next month. Can we print out our boarding passes in the BC lounge?

I'm not sure if the lounge can, but the resort airline check-in desk can.

Sorry, haven't had a chance to read through the entire thread, but saw that CSR will be undergoing renovation. Are they adding the murphy bed to allow for 5 people like CBR and POR?

There haven't been any reports of that happening...it's primarily a bathroom rehab.

I would doubt it, due to the convention center thing.

Buzz's site notes the refurb to include replacement of single sink with double sink, replacement of bathtub with shower with integrated bathing area (potentially akin to DCL set-up), and replacement of all flooring and all furniture (though not Murphy beds.) Rugs to be become hard flooring. Beds to lose the box springs. And desk and tv stand/chest of drawers to become a new, single piece of furniture.

I'm about two weeks out and looking to start packing soon! I'm wondering whether I should bring my own pool towels, at least for myself since I'm plus sized. Also, does anyone have experience with Amazon Now at Coronado? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I'm about to pull the trigger and book a weekend in November for business class. Can someone tell me what is offered at certain times of the day? Especially evening and breakfast. Thanks!!

Sorry-
Just jumping in without fully reading...

I've received email stating there will be construction during our stay
(9thnov-169thnov)
I hadn't heard of this previously and I'm rather concerned-

Please either alleviate my fears or tell me to change to non rehab resort

There are plenty of towels available at the main pool. I wouldn't bother to take my own.

Continental breakfast in the a.m. 7a-10a, I believe. So you'll find things like bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt. Drinks: tea, coffee, juice, milk. Light apps in the evenings, 5p-10p? (Can't remember exact hours). In the evening, there will light apps (cold) like crudité, deli meat, cut up cheese, asst'd chips, dip and salsa. Drinks will be soda, sangria, wine, beer, water, not bottled but filtered and juice upon request. Later in the evening they put out asst'd cookies. I posted a pic of the breakfast items somewhere back in this thread. We enjoy BC very much, think it's a great deal and will back there next month. HTH

The rehab should occur building by building and you shouldn't actually notice any work being done.

That's a big if there is a welcome package in your room. I'm here now, checked in yesterday and I don't even have a do not disturb sign in my room. I was going to hang it on my door this morning so mousekeeping wouldn't bother with my room, I'm only here for two nights so it's not necessary. Searched every drawer and nothing so they ended up cleaning the room. For only two nights it wasn't worth calling and asking for one. I got my room number text around 10:30 yesterday morning, still had to go into the lobby because I drove down and needed a parking pass for my car. I got here around 1:30 or 2 and there was maybe 2 other people checking in. I'm in Cabanas 8B room 8680 second floor. Corner room so two windows, which doesn't matter to me since I don't open the curtains and my view would be the parking lot if I did. The bus stop is one building over and the quiet pool right next door, dig site a short walk away. I haven't really used much of the facilities, got in from AK around 9 last night so grabbed something to go from the food court. Got back around 4:30 today planning on spending the day at the pool and exploring but about 1/2 hour into my pool time the sky opened up and is only just now letting up. Too heavy for an umbrella and I discovered this morning that the rain jacket I brought was ripped under the arm and up the side. So, I ended up video chatting with my honey and puppy and reading, supper was snacking on my car snacks and bottled water. I did sort of explore the place on my morning walk this morning, I walked around the entire resort, weaving in and out of all the courtyards in each village. It's a pretty resort, Cabanas don't have any courtyards like the rest of the villages. I would stay here again if the price were right (I only paid $139/night with my AP discount for a standard room) but it's not my favorite moderate resort. Nothing wrong with it, all the CMs have been pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and lots of space, just not my favorite.
