That white bag hanging in the "closet" area by the sink is where your hair dryer is stashed! Just an FYI.

Hi! We are staying at the CSR next week! We are going to a wedding and decided to add on a quick trip to DW. I am thankful for this thread for all the great info on CSR. I have a few questions. 1. We are getting in around 7:40pm and wondering if we should get our luggage ourselves before taking ME to CSR rather than having luggage delivered. We have never done ME but from reading posts it sounds like it could be very late before our luggage is delivered. 2. On our check-out day, we have an evening flight so we planned a character breakfast at chef mickeys at 10:40am. I am concerned about it taking forever on the transportation and considering taking a cab at least for the way there. Wondering if anyone else has done that from CSR to Chef Mickeys. 3. Should we be still be able to use the pool at CSR on our check-out day? 4.Can we check our luggage in for our flight anytime on check out day? (we are flying on an airline where we should be able to check in for flight at the resort).

We are very excited for our first stay stay at CSR! Our dates are over Christmas, 12-18-26. Our daughter is turning 14 on Christmas Day. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all about CSR. DH and I almost stayed here last year, but ended up staying at POP and getting AP with the price difference.

Does anyone know how the location of connecting standard view rooms?

They are located all over the resort.

We always grab our luggage and take it to the ME. It's nice to have all your stuff when you get to your room. We did use the ME luggage tags once and it worked fine. The luggage showed up about 3 hours after we checked in. It requires packing more clothes in your carry-ons though or you're stuck in your travelling clothes for 3 hours.

Does anyone have a schedule of activities at the resort? Just wondering what's available to do at the resort if we hung out there an did a non-park day. Did they close the marina?

Check out touring plans. You can put in water view queen bed rooms and they'll show you where they are located on the map.

Before they had the Business Class rooms at CSR I always booked a waterview. Not because I sit in my room looking at the view, but because there are no waterviews in the 3 buildings at CSR that I absolutely don't want to be in. So the waterview guaranteed me a room I could live with. I also found that when you have paid for a room that is an upgrade over standard they work a little harder to put you in a room you want.

The 3 buildings with no waterview are Ranchos 6A, 6B, and 7A. You also won't be in Casitas 1-3 (preffered) or Cabanas 9B Business Class. So your possible locations are Casitas 4 or 5, Cabanas 8A, 8B, or 9A all facing the main lagoon or Ranchos 7B over looking the quiet pool.

My preferred choice of those is Casitas 4. I use the Fitness Center which is in that building, it has an extra large quiet pool, and close to busstop 2 the first pickup for the parks.

Casitas 5 is halfway between the food court and Digsite pool area, about 5 mins either way. The Cabanas buildings are very close to the Digsite. Ranchos 7B if farther from the food court than the other choices, but is very quiet and has a nice scenic quiet pool.

I'm just wondering when free dining is offered in the US for this year?
I'm staying at CSR August 17-29th and have read lots of people choosing CSR because they can't get POR. Just wondering if it's going to be very crowded when I'm there.
(I'm in the UK, that's why I'm clueless on when it is offered to US residents).

FD starts on August 31st...

I know what you mean. I was in the ROOM and I was looking all over the place. I ended up calling the front desk who then told me it was in the white bag. Duh. Never thought it would be hanging in the "closet".
