Hey where is everyone?

Kimberley's pics are working now but i have a different question.

Does the CR and GF Concierge share the same phone? I called to make first contact and i thought she mentioned the GF when she answered the phone.
If they do share does that mean the same CM work for both resorts or are there different staffs for the 2 hotels?

For pre-planning, you are not dealing with the concierge staff at the actual resort. Generally 2 resorts share a pre-planning staff. They are in an off site office. I think CR shares with either the Poly or GF.

I asked my original question because the person I spoke to wasn't that helpful in addressing a concern of mine.

Yes, all pre-planning activities are done by a different (than in the resorts) pre-planning staff. That includes email and phone calls. (Unless Disney has made a recent change.)

Kimberle- your pictures are great I just noticed that your signature says you're from lower Fairfield county- what town? I grew up in Newtown BTW- I'm getting close to mt 90 day mark for PSs. I've already given the IPO staff my full list of PS requests, but any ideas on how to hide the fact that I'm not calling Disney Dining every morning??? My family doesn't know we are staying on the 12th floor. My daughter reminds me almost daily that it's almost time to start calling for PSs

'Nother Fairfield County girl here. I lived in Stamford for a year, then Norwalk for a year and as you can see from my siggy I moved a littler further north- the cost of homes is outrageous for what we wanted (IMO of course)

CHA-CHING Added bonus! OK, so any info. yal can give me to make the most of our 2 night stay would be wonderful! What kind of food offerings did you have during your stay? When did you contact the preplanning office or did they contact you? I'm sorry if I am running off at the mouth but I am just so excited!!

When are you going? I am so jealous. Tried to get a room on the 14th but they were booked. I booked a suite but am not thinking of going to the 12th floor. I can't believe that you were able to use AAA. Did you use a travel agency, if so which one and who? You are so lucky. Have fun.

I used Dreams Unlimited through the main DIS page. My agent is Sue Ellen and she is wonderful! We are going to be there Sept 30- Oct. 2 and then we check into the BWV for the rest of our trip. DU will give you a no pressure quote and will work with you on everything from PS to tickets for special events and tours. I used DU a couple of years ago and our trip was one of the best I have ever had. I am a fanatical planner but sometimes my work sched. doesn't allow me to be on the phone for long periods of time and DU does it for you! Check them out. You will be pleasantly surprised!

That's great! Congratulations! We loved our 14th floor stay! Watching the fireworks from the lounge balcony was amazing!

When we get back from Vacation I will try to post on what I saw there and give a short report. We have never been disappointed at CR so you will have tons of fun

My first WDW trip is in 27 days at the CR. I had read somewhere that not sure when it started but in June the Garden South Wing will be closed. I am very excited to be staying there. I will have to let you all know how it goes.

I'm so excited, yesterday I call for reservations and planned on staying at the Yacht Club lagoon view concierge with a AAA rate for labor day weekend. Just for the heck of it I asked the great cm I had if 14th floor was available and it was!!!!! We got a king bed MK view for 3 nights WOOHOO! We stayed on the 9th floor before our wedding last year and the view was great. I figure we can do YC any time but with 14th floor available I wasn't going to pass it up and it was only $8.00 more a night.
