I've got a quick question.... is there a different check-in area for 12th floor concierge???

11 days to go... I feel like I am never gonna get there!

Ok couple of questions for the experts.

We've got a CR Tower Room reserved for $271 inc. tax per nite for 12/8 - 12/13. Is that a good rate?

I understand we should ask for an odd-numbered room to get an MK view. Is that correct? If we do not get MK view, will we automatically be facing the side where we can see the Electric Water Pageant?

I know at WL many people have asked for an upgrade to concierge at check-in and gotten it for a minor charge. Do they do that at CR as well? If so, what is the upgrade charge usually?

annamonte, we will be checking into a 12th floor room at the CR in 6 days. I recieved a call on Sunday from the concierge. She told me that 12th floor concierge now goes to the concierge desk to check in. She said when we pulled into the CR to let them know we were checking in at concierge. I guess I will figure it out once I get there. Have fun.

What is the difference between Tower and Tower Club?

"Tower" is a Tower room in the big building and "Tower Club" is a tower room with limited conceirge service on the 12th floor.

Mommy Poppins: Tower means you are staying in the main building (the toaster, as some call it! ). Tower Club is the 12th floor "light" concierge. Not as elaborate or expensive as the hard to get 14th floor full Concierge....

I will be staying Tower Club in 10 days... will let you know how it is!

$271 rate... looks good to me considering rack rate is $355!

I think you are right, if you don't get MK side, you automatically are on the side where the Electric Water Pageant is! Don't know for sure though... I have begged for, I mean requested MK side and hope I get it!

Never have gone to CR before, so I was never offered an upgrade... but, maybe you can call and ask how much $ difference it is for 12th floor? If not much, it may be a nice upgrade on your own?!

Odd numbered does not mean MK view. I think it just means that if you are in a MK view room that if it is odd numbered that you can lay in your bed at night and look out the sliding glass door and see the MK.

This may have been answered already, but I'm still confused. The standard wing rooms are parking lot view only? The map I looked at shows the parking lot on MK side, so would you also be able to see MK from here? Or is there different standard wings? Just trying to figure out where we could possibly be staying or if I should request something in particular for view. We have a standard wing room booked.

I'm not certain as I haven't stayed in a wing room but from walking along them the view would be very obstructed to see MK. You have trees along with the monorail plus the parking lot to look past. South Wing would be no for sure as the Tower would be blocking the view.

Don't sell the wings short. Our first trip was in the north wing. We had a wonderful time. We were on the 2nd floor, abt 1/2 way down. We could see the fireworks from our window.
