Does anyone know if there are laundry room facilities at the CR, and if so, where they are located?
...for those who know...
What EXACTLY is on the menu at the Tempo Grab n Go, particularly for breakfast? Are there ANY hot items? Somewhere I had found a picture of the menu boards a while ago, and can no longer find that picture.(I don't know if it was on the DIS or on Allearsnet.) I know others have said that the best thing to do is get danish, buns, etc with snack credits. But, I'll have my parents there in two months, and they like a regular breakfast type of thing. Going to a different resort for breakfast would be a bad idea, as they are 83 and that would probably add about 45 minutes to our schedule in the morning.

Thanks! I haven't been there since they started moving restaurants and things around.
Does anyone know if there are laundry room facilities at the CR, and if so, where they are located? I'm going to be at WDW for 12 days, and I don't want to have to pack that many clothes, so I plan to do laundry midway through my stay.
Yes, that helps. Thanks! The hot item is called a breakfast scrambler. It is a dough cup with scrambled eggs and cheese inside. You can also get one with eggs, cheese, bacon and onions too. These come frozen and the CMs put them in a microwave. I had one and it was very dry. I only ate about 1/4 of it.
The flatbread pizzas are good. Great for a late night snack. The CMs at the Grab 'N Go are great. The afternoon and evening menu is flatbreads, hot dogs and pulled barbeque pork sandwich.
We were there for 10 days. We ate at Gasparillas and Captain Cooks. My DS5 had to have his Mickey Waffles.![]()
My step father is 81 and he just ordered room service or got something from the baked goods case. He and my mother often split meals. I would probably use room service for your parents. The extra cost is better than wasting so much time in the mornings. Gasparillas was a zoo around 8:45!
Hope this helps,
Lori
The game room has been there for months, I think I have pics of it up (from a number of months back). It isn't as nice as the old one.
Denise,
Do you have a link with the pics? I would lilke to see them. Thanks
Congragulations on staying at the Contemporary, I am sure your going to enjoy it a lot.I just booked our trip for March at the Contemporary and I am so excited! We took our first trip to WDW in June and I let everyone talk me out of staying at the Contemporary. We ended up going to the hotel for breakfeast and I regreted not staying there. My daughters birthday is Tuesday and I am going to tell her then, but I am so excited that I had to tell someone! LOL
Excatly.Oh and how fun it is to correct this mistake!
They do not go all out like the Grand Floridian or Wilderness Lodge does, but in the past they have had decorations in the lobby and the 4th floor.Or lack thereof, really...I've heard that there aren't any decorations up at CR. Can any one confirm or (hopefully) dispute?
Thanks
Christine
I am not sure of their hours and they don't have anything listed for breakfast, but for lunch and maybe dinner there is always the Sand Bar which is located by the pool. Their menu is smaller then what the Food & Fun Center had, however it still has your basic items. So here is their menu from Allearsnet.com if anyone wants to take a look at.[/QUOT
Is the Sand Bar a counter service credit on the dining plan or a table service? Hoping for a counter service there, we are staying garden wing and was hoping for option to use our credits other than Grab and Go.
Thanks!!!
Jill
