Have a safe trip and a great time!

I feel the same way about time in crescent lake vs. monorail area. I like to get as much MK/monorail time as I can—that’s why I was wondering if the split was even worth it.

Enjoy your trip 😃
thx!

Yep love the seven seas lagoon!

Greetings! My family and I will be staying at Contemporary next week for the first time. We are so excited! It's a one-night-only once-in-a-lifetime splurge to to start off our trip to celebrate a high school graduation (we are staying at All-Star Music the rest of the week). Staying at the Contemporary has been the graduate's long-time dream:earsboy:. I want us to partake of all the Contemporary has to offer, so any suggestions you all have would be great. We will have a theme park view room, and we will be hanging out only at Contemporary that 24 hours-- no parks, etc..

I also have some additional questions:
-What happens at the 50th Anniversary Celebration Pool Party that takes place on Friday at 3:30pm?
-What are all the in-room amenities that we can partake of? We don't want to miss out on a thing. Tell me everything you all know is available, like lotions, shower caps, robes, slippers, coffees, etc. I want to be able to know what things to ask for in case anything's missing from our room.

Thank you all for all your insight!
Bump

I just walked the whole building. Many rooms have good views. I booked std because it’s a quick trip . Not the best view but I can see the monorail whoosh by!

We enjoyed getting beverages from outer rim while mobile ordering from Contempo Cafe. They don’t mind if you eat there (did at lunch) or ask for a to go beverage while you wait for your order. You can sit and order. No need to stand at bar.
During our Oct 1 trip last year we could not get anyone to serve us at a table at the Outer Rim, so glad it sounds like they have gotten more servers there now!

I was just browsing the mobile order food options and the ability to mobile order from the Steakhouse is FANTASTIC!! The Contempo lounge I always feel is lacking in options and very boring. Have a reservation at Steakhouse for lunch, but being able to get something for Fireworks there is great ;) (We've done every meal at Steakhouse, lunch is the hands down winner).

We've eaten at the Steakhouse lounge and breakfast so far. Can't wait to try lunch!

This is great to hear, thanks! We booked a lunch ADR for Father's Day and I realized the other day the two menus were different. Time and location-wise, lunchtime worked best and DH wanted to try Steakhouse. I was just asking him yesterday what he would prefer, but he was more inclined to stick with convenience. I'll let him know about lunch :).

How was the food at the Tower Club?

Still debating a theme park view regular room or if it’s worth it doing 1/2 the trip atrium club.

While I am neither the person you're responding to or was at the Tower Club may I entice you with photos of delicious bread pudding and breakfast from just one floor below:

Oh, that’s exciting!! We’ll be Atrium club level :) Been worried about the choices with two picky teenagers. Club at AK did not have many things they’d eat and I had to get quick serve mobile order. That’s why I’m so thrilled with Steakhouse mobile order! Back pre-Covid, we found ourselves starving late night at a reg Beach Club room, food options in the evenings at some resorts really suck.

Oh wow. Thanks so much for the pics. Are you there now? The breakfast looks good. Almost better than a Mickey waffle. 🧇 😉
Thanks so much for sharing.

Sadly no, this is from the week of 5/18 - so not too long ago :D

I'm a little sad I missed out on Steakhouse 71 to go - I will try the mac and cheese one day! May still want QS for lunch and dinner but for breakfast it was definitely the star of the show at Atrium Club (and to a lesser extent, dessert was also pretty good).

I noticed that steakhouse 71 did not have the French Onion soup on the mobile and I wanted to try that.

So breakfast was better than the evening apps? Surprising.

Thanks again for the pics.

Oops I missed this. On the cl thread gadisneydad posted all his tower club links together. He had lots of pix.

Probably only a few pages back, it was in May.

I loved the beef at night. One night it was with with potatoes n carrots, the next night with mashed and corn.

Dd liked the corn dogs and chicken nuggets, it’s like have\ing QS in the lounge, oh the sushi is nice too!

Desserts were good. The chocolates are fun!

The food seemed the same as Atrium from Oct 2021 for the most part.

My dd is 27 so I don’t do pool parties, sorry!

We love Cr TPV. Dd and I simply enjoy grabbing food or desserts and watching from the balcony or bed all that is fun going on ! Ask for an odd numbered room if you want to see the castle from the bed!

Shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, shower cap, q tip with cotton circles and mouthwash.

You can ask for more of anything if needed including coffee and supplies by calling housekeeping.

We love exploring! Mono to poly and gf and walk around. You can mobile order meals, snacks, or cupcakes perhaps? That can be fun,

It was easier to do when the boat went from CR to wl but you still can visit WL. Walk or mono to MK then boat or bus to wl. The lobby is so different compared to CR!

The Geyser point is a fun spot for a meal or just a drink.

We had some kids ring our doorbell just now which woke me up. Ugh, going to try to go back to bed. 🙄😅😂

Thank you! Still undecided, but sounds good.
My son loves those corn dogs & nuggets from chef mickeys. 😀

So exited. Had BWI booked for end of September but just decided to switch to CR! Well no confirmation yet from my TA but there are rooms available LOL. Second time going this year! I figured since we are going to be at MNSSHP and Extended Hours at both MK and Epcot, it makes sense to stay at CR. And I prefer the architecture and room theme of CR. Can't wait!

Got 2 Lakeview rooms. CL was sold out. Fortunately for my wallet LOL. Torn between getting 5th floor and taking the stairs or higher up... At what point can I get a good view of the Electrical Parade?
