Also just noticed that it looks like the GW rooms don’t share the same “arched” window/patio wall treatment as the Tower rooms, if I’m looking at the photo correctly.

I just walked the whole building. Many rooms have good views. I booked std because it’s a quick trip . Not the best view but I can see the monorail whoosh by!

We enjoyed getting beverages from outer rim while mobile ordering from Contempo Cafe. They don’t mind if you eat there (did at lunch) or ask for a to go beverage while you wait for your order. You can sit and order. No need to stand at bar.

I watched fireworks from Poly and then took mono to Cr. I love to spend time at all the mono resorts.

I just can’t look at those mask things without thinking of pig noses and/or eyeballs looking at me in my hotel room. Not a fan.

Oh the reason they are showers and not tubs in GW? The bathroom is smaller. I compared pix from oct to this room. The tower room is about 12-18 inches wider.

Great idea on heading to the Polly for fireworks. May have to do that as well.

Also have standard view booked. Thought about garden but couldn’t justify the difference.

We are staying in the GW in August. Besides Cali Grill is there somewhere at the CR to watch fireworks?

The 4th floor observation deck (behind fantasia gift shop) is a great spot.

I read on another site I’m on in UK that house keeping has been really poor here ,it’s worrying me ,we‘ll be there for 14 nights . Do you think it’ll be daily,evey other day or what ?

I have had a few deluxe stays this year.Housekeeping is better than last year! You do get everyday but sometimes we are just getting back to the room and just ask for towels etc.

Even if they do your room you can always call for extra blankets, coffee, towels etc. Some days you just need more. They bring stuff to you pretty quick as well.

*for those arriving very late, or getting back from a park late, there were vending machines with water n soda, and another with snacks. I am always afraid we won’t be able to buy water after a long day.

When I did online check in the only options were for every other day or no housekeeping at all. So I don’t think they’ll be coming every day

Contemporary, we are staying in a theme park view room non club level. Maybe club level does it every day?

We only had Friday to Sunday and we were offered onSaturday. My guess website not updated. Even CSR had every day back in January.

Good to hear that you had the option for every day. Probably haven’t updated the app. Maybe I won’t do online check-in.
