Any chance of seeing fireworks from the Lake View rooms?

Depends on the room, of course, but it's possible - we have just returned from a stay in 7710, which is nominally a Lake View 1BR, but essentially faces due north, and has a decent view of the fireworks if you look left.

It's that way for me too but then for some reason this whole thread is showing up funny on my computer. All the rest are fine but this on is only showing on the left side of my screen.

The original posts on this thread are quite dated and the service the poster used to host photos no longer works. You’re not missing much - any photos would be pretty outdated at this point. It’s been on my list to make a new thread at some point - when I can get to it!

This was our view from 7912 ( one bedroom lake view)

From what I’ve seen on touring plans, there are some lake view rooms with a side view of MK.

I'm sure I mentioned this before but this will be the first stay at BLT for me and my 28yo DD. I have not told her yet where we are staying. She thinks we are staying at SSR and VWL. We are staying at BLT and her favorite BWV. I haven't decided yet how to surprise her with the news. I want to keep it a secret as long as possible. I would love it if there was a way she wouldn't find out until we pull up in front of the resort. I don't think that is possible though because she would find out when we go to get on the bus. What do you guys think? Should I let her find out when we go to get on the bus or should I do something after we land and before the bus? Also has anyone taken Mears to the Contemporary yet?

7 month window for our August trip opened this morning! BLT here we come! This is my DS's favorite resort so I'm always happy to book it for us!

Fantasia Market is a gift shop/convenience store that has basic items. Think small convenience store/sundry shop type things. They have various chips and sodas in the fridge.

Not sure about fruit off the top of my head? May need to check out Contempo Cafe (CR’s quick service restaurant) for that.

Both are located on CR’s 4th floor. Fantasia Market is somewhat tucked away on the north end of the floor (the end by the MK observation deck and walkway to BLT).
