Today is my last day at Bay Lake Tower. I have 3 cans of Peroni, an avocado and a box of gluten free pasta if anyone is interested.

We usually get some light groceries for me and DW (eg, bananas, apples, yogurt) for breakfast and we'll order the kids something from Contempo Cafe.

What's a ballpark figure for the cost of that? We do a similar breakfast (coffee, banana, apple or yogurt) in the mornings and we usually just get it wherever is most convenient. I know it's $1.50 for a banana at MK but I figure by the time you order delivery, tip, and have stuff left over it's probably more convenient and costs the same to just buy it wherever you are. We also buy the 8 bottle water packs at the resort gift shop.

edit* ok I see minimum delivery $40 plus $14 fee.

Hmm, I’d have to go back and look. For what little we order, something like GG is definitely probably not cost effective or practical, but I’m a sucker for convenience.

With GG I can order the kind of yogurt I like, DW can order the kind she likes, and not be limited to whatever is in the resort store, because I guess we are high maintenance like that.

I’ve been ordering cases of water as well.

Although when CL returns, my grocery ordering days will be a distant memory.

Not that I have seen. Nothing like a gigantic mystery going on behind scrims to only the most iconic 50th anniversary Disney resort… it’s half super exciting and half super nerve-racking at the same time!

I we are staying garden wing at contemporary for first time March 2022. We have stayed at Floridian and poly several times and love the monorail resorts. Any tips for room requests? I want ground floor for sure

Close to main building or close to main lobby. Maybe add nice pool view

I was amazed they cleared the entire Atrium for the updates. I can't wait for the first live reports to be posted.

It was weird to see. The atrium and the hotel in general was so much quieter than normal

It seems like the garden wing is not bookable over the fall/winter, maybe it’s bc they are planning on refurbishing it.
