77 pages is a bit daunting, so forgive me if this has been asked. What kind of coffee machine is in the 2BR Bay Lake View room? Ordering from gardengrocer and wasn't sure if it was pods or regular grinds.

We were confused before we went as well, so I'm happy I can answer :) It is a regular drip coffee maker. The Joffreys coffee they provide are in the bid pods that go in the basket. We took our own, ground coffee that we like, but forgot filters! Doh! Luckily they do sell filters in the store in the CR :) Hope that helps!

This is still confusing me. When we booked our room, we paid more money to ensure that we would have a theme park view. Do I still have to request it on top of that? Why would they charge me more money for the view and then not give it to me? My reservation on MDE says "Room Type: Theme Park View - Atrium Club Level" Am I worrying too much? :crazy2:

I did online check in and requesting Odd Number Room is not an option:(

My DW and I were talking about our room request for BLT (we'll be making the request in about 2 weeks) and she said that she liked being on the first floor. So I think that I am going to request first floor\interior room. I'm thinking people requesting the first floor is probably NOT a frequent request. But what do i know?:confused3

BIG pods, not bid. Sorry, stupid autocorrect!

To anyone who has stayed in the Tower rooms with a baby...where is the best spot to put the pack and play? Any creative places?

My options are Ground Floor, Lower Floor, Near Bridge , Upper Floor or Near Elevator. I would attach a pic but I am not sure how!

We are staying at BLT for the first time next weekend and was wondering if their are vests that the children can wear for the pool? How deep is the pool at BLT? Thank you!

We are home and had a lovely trip. My daughter and niece (teens) absolutely loved CR (me too, of course!).

Walking to and from the MK is the greatest. Loved the spacious room; loved the Bay Lake views (and no, WDWKOOK, I didn't look at being close to BLT as a bad thing at all - it's so gorgeous!).

I was totally unprepared for how cool it was to be able to look through the end of the CR and see Space Mtn and the Castle every time we walked into or out of our (Bay Lake View) front door. That is the ticket

We were on the 9th floor, fourth room from the (MK) end :wizard:

We got pretty lucky with the weather, considering it is August! We all agreed that we just LOVE being there in the summer :yay:

Parks were fab. People were fab!

We had 9:15 b'fast at Kona one morning and took the first bus that pulled up to bus stop (Typhoon Lagoon) b/c our buses to both AK and DHS had stopped first at Poly. I checked with the bus driver that his next stop would be Polynesian and he confirmed. So that is my advice for getting to the Polynesian quickly from CR. CONFIRM w/ driver, of course*

You cannot beat walking back to the CR from MK under a "supermoon" :wizard:

Hi mickeynut1 :flower3:
We loved your pictures and updates - thank you! We can't believe you're already home though:(. I'm glad you loved your room location and I'm dying to know where you might stay your next visit? Have you made any tentative plans yet? Are your tickers for one year from now at CR and AKL?

We are staying at BLT for the first time next weekend and was wondering if their are vests that the children can wear for the pool? How deep is the pool at BLT? Thank you!

Yes, the BLT pool has two sizes of vests for kids. It is a zero entry pool. Has a big slide for big kids and adults and a mini slide for the toddler crowd. I'm not sure of the exact depth of the pool, but I don't think it's deeper than 5 or 6 feet. There is also a splash area that is separate from the pool. Water shoots out of the ground and the kids run thru it.

There are also activities at the pool every afternoon. My boys love them! Activities include (but not limited too): critter find, hula hoop toss, chalk drawing, music trivia contest, Disney trivia contest, sand necklaces/bracelets, dance contest. I know there are more, but I can't remember them all off the top of my head.

We are here now! Winding our trip down. It has been absolutely wonderful. I'm tempted to attempt a Trip Report because I have never found one where anyone stayed at the contemporary.

Can someone please tell me where I would find a bagel for a snack Credit here and also where I could refill my mug for coffee and sofa? Thanks!

I'm not sure about BLT, but I do see people making that request for CR GW rooms as well as for other resorts like the Poly, GF, BC/YC, etc. :goodvibes. I hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

Hi mickeynut1 :flower3:

Welcome back :wave2:.

Glad you had a great trip. Thanks for checking in periodically and posting pics :goodvibes.

All of your pics are beautiful, thanks for sharing :). You definitely had a great room with a pretty view of Bay Lake from your balcony and a magical view of MK as you walked out of your room :thumbsup2. Seeing all of your pics and hearing about your trip is making me more excited to try the CR next year ::yes::.

Thanks for the tip on a quick way to get to the Poly from the CR, I never would have thought of that ;).

Hi KOOK

I'm with KOOK, I'm also wondering where you are going to stay next :).

Beautiful pic, thanks for sharing :flower3:.

Glad you are having a great time :wizard:. Good luck with your TR. I've never done one, but I do enjoy reading them :goodvibes.

Can someone please tell me where I would find a bagel for a snack Credit here and also where I could refill my mug for coffee and sofa? Thanks!

Contempo Cafe has bagels and you can also refill your mug there :thumbsup2.

Does anyone know if they pipe in the HalloWishes music at the Atrium Club level lounge? I called them yesterday and they said they didn't know. They pipe in the regular wishes but nobody knows about party nights.

Hoping someone has some first hand experience. Thank you! :)
