I'm having a delivery from GardenGrocer for our arrival day. Will I have to advise them at check-in about it or will it be delivered directly to our room? Thanks.

Me bad I meant 14th floor The 14th floor has mostly suites etc but a few rooms facing MK view ( with king beds) and a couple facing Bay Lake view according to Disney travel & the map that is on this thread. As far as king size bed that how it was booked I didn't request it as it was listed that way on the Disney web site. This was the only room I could get using the military rate. I do know on 12th floor it is just a request but since I am on 14th floor it is a given (according to both Disney Travel & the IPO office) And the person (IPO) told me it was a given that I would get MK view *** the rooms facing Bay Lake was 2 queens. I guess I will find out. Meanwhile I am calling every other day to see if I can change it to a theme park view club level. Thanks for the help

We were told that all Tower King rooms had a MK view and ours did. We had room 4911 in April and while clean and comfortable and close to the lounge, it has not been refurbished to the level of the other rooms in the resort (we stayed MK view 8th floor in 2008), no desk and desk chair, no computer, sofa, etc. The furniture was Motel 6 style with a lamp with an ugly hanging cord and the bathroom (shower stall only, no tub) had no shelving so shampoo and soap had to sit on the floor. Very unsafe. There was a bidet, making the room cramped. There were robes, and the balcony was gigantic with a great view. We wouldn't stay in that room again--it was really pretty ugly--but that is probably why we received a generous pin code for it.

This is a silly question but will the resort provide bathrobes if you ask? I would rather not have to pack mine!

The robes (as in that picture) might be for club level rooms only though? Not sure. I don't remember having them. Or maybe you do need to actually request one when you get there...? Good luck!

You don't have to let them know when you check in but it won't be delivered directly to your room. You will have to call Bell Services from your room and ask them to bring it up to your room.

We are staying one night at the CR standard club level room. The room is a king size bed on 14th floor. I requested a MK view ..after contacting the IPO office they told me the king size room was just a request. I call Disney travel and they said I paid for a King size bed club level and it is not a request. I email back tonight telling them it not a request but I paid for it.

Any idea what room number you all can offer to request. Did research on the rooms etc and found out that certain rooms are not worth the cost of room. And yes I read this thread. I found one room that would be suitable. All the good room have views of MK except for one room.

Also can you use both lounges? Thanks. This is driving us batty. It is only for one night .. We booked under the military discount and all that was open in Dec. even the non club level rooms . Checked GF and nothing except one bedroom suite for $$ .

If you booked a king Tower Club room, you are guaranteed a king bed as well as a MK view. Also, if you booked tower club (14th floor), you have access to both lounges, however, 12th floor Atrium club guests only have access to the Atrium club lounge. I thought only CL rooms had robes, too, but the heading above the pics says "standard tower and garden wing interiors" (with the pic of the robe hanging next to the safe included in that group of pics), so I assumed all rooms had robes . Hopefully someone will be able to verify that or correct me if I'm wrong. I know the GF has robes in all rooms (not just CL), but maybe that's the only one.

Oh boy...we too booked aTower King Bed CL room for one night in October and after reading this, I went & did a little more searching and basically read that 4911 & 4912 (the two King rooms on the 14th fl) are the worst 2 rooms to get...ugh!!! For what I'm paying...umm, no thx! Going to be definitely switching.

Hi everyone, just booked our first stay at the Contemporary (we usually do mods) - Tower with a theme Park View from March 16-20!!! We're tacking on 4 nights following a 3 night Dream Cruise. So excited - this is a celebratory / splurge vacation for us! Can't wait to go through this thread.

Hi, I have a dumb question. If you booked CR theme park view, are you guaranteed to be able to see wishes from your balcony?? I was reading on touring plans that some look out over the convention centre? I'd hate to expect to see wishes and pay for it and be disappointed!! Thanks in advance to the vets.

Yes, all the Tower rooms have a balcony and all the TPV/MKV rooms have an unobstructed view of MK/Wishes. The photos that were posted show this.

MH and I are both big planners, and even though our trip is over a year away, we both are in high research mode. We want to stay BLT 1 bdrm villa but realize not being DVC members we'll have to wait to secure a reservation. How long does it usually take to find out if there are available spots? Will we have the chance to be as selective (i.e. high # theme park view) as we would with other resorts?

We've made our initial reservation at AOA just to hold a date, but really want BLT!

Welcome to the thread and the DIS! It can vary. For some reason, back in '09 when BLT opened, they were actually taking cash reservations slightly before points reservations. I was able to book with the military rate before those with points could. It never hurts to try and you can easily check on the Disney booking site.

Edit: Sorry, the previous image I found was huge.

You can see by this image, the convention center doesn't obstruct any of the balconies, so I should think you can see Wishes no matter what room you're in. The xmas tree might be a little annoying though.

Just a couple more days until we check in. Getting so excited now

Trying to book Contemporary for Sept 2015 - Garden Wing Standard View. It seems as though there is no availability for any room type in the Garden Wing for any date in Sept 2015 - anyone able to book a room in this category?? Kindest Thanks!

Welcome! You can book now for 2015 up to 500 days in advance. But you might have to call. If your dates aren't available on the website, sometimes it's only one of your days that's book or they've blocked some rooms out for a convention. Don't give up!

I looked several times a day for a TPV room with passholder. Today an atrium club TPV showed up. Oh well if I must!
Dd and I now 2 days cr and deluxe king RPC for the last night of our 3 day mom and me before school.

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I have a 2 bedroom BLT TP view booked on 10/10 and the rest of our stay is a lake view. Wondering if anyone on here has a LV and prefers a TP view and somehow we can exchange???

If this is something to do with points, you will want to go to the DVC Forum, but IDK what their rules are about "trades." If you have a cash reservation, then just call the WDTC and see what's available.

Only Club Level rooms supply robes.

I think robes are only available in club level rooms.

We stayed Club last week. There were no robes in our room.

If you're staying at BLT, you can refill your mug at the pool:

On the 12th floor Atrium Club Level, king beds are by-request only. There are very few, but I believe it can be requested. The room number map I have in the CL section is only for the 14th floor Tower Club Level where you can actually book a king. You can also book a Deluxe room in the GW and those will have a king, but they don't have CL access.

I posted this on the July thread, but thought I should definitely share it here for my fellow CR/BLT lovers Anyone else LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell of the resort!? Oh my! After a long, sweaty day in the parks to walk into BLT and feel the COLD air, and smell that smell and hear "welcome home" .....pure heaven!

I asked at the concierge desk and was told you can order it online! Bad news, the original investment in the machine is $200 and refills are $50, but I'm strongly considering it, ha! Disney got me again!

The pic from the link on the first page sort of gave me the idea it was from a standard/GW room, so I wasn't sure if that was the case, or if only CL rooms had them. It's close enough to make me think of Disney and it smells really good (and $7 is much better than $200!). Just wanted to share!

You're correct and GF is also the only resort to turn-down all resort rooms, not just CL. GF non-CL rooms are like CL-lite

Thanks for that additional information . I never knew the GF was the only one to do turn down for all rooms.

Nothing booked yet, but maybe soon. My brother and SIL have decided to take my niece for her first trip next summer (she'll be 3 1/2 ), so once we all decide on dates, I'll book everything together .

Thanks, I have found reviews of the same room number. I told them I wouldn't take it due the same reasons you mention. I did talked to the mangager of the CR today and told her how I was being treated. She said she would look into it and called me back. She called back and said she would get me the other room I requested and if that wasn't possible she would get me a better room. If it doesn't work out before I go I will cancel. But am still trying for theme park view on the 12th floor. I am just tried of the round around they doing. Yes I got a decent price but if the room is not worth it why bother? We seen pictures on other sites and that room is horrible. No way I want to stay there even for one night just my view. Thanks for letting me know

I love the smell at the contemporary Also. I went to Amazon and searched for aloe and clover and found scent bars made by someone homemade. They are great!!! Etsy is another place you can find Disney scents
