Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

It's been a minute since I have stayed CL. What are the benefits of staying CL now. I loved the fast pass benefits from years ago. Is there anything like that now?

I know this has been answered but as others have said, the biggest pro is having the dedicated space to grab a snack, water, etc. On our non-CL trips last year every quick service from value to deluxe was bonkers crazy at breakfast and dinner. Another perk is having the lounge staff to help with issues. For instance, my son got very sick our last trip, we happened to also be switching rooms that day. They went above and beyond to help us out. They ran down to the gift shop and grabbed items that they didn't have in the lounge, found a room for us to go to right at check out, so we weren't "homeless ". They really cared about him and I said to my DH, this is why we stay CL.

Back to moving around reservations again and driving myself crazy. Now doing a split stay during spring break- can do any of the following options
1) Grand Flo RV CL (4 nights) /Poly TPV CL (3 nights)
2) Grand Flo RV CL (4 nights) /Riviera one bedroom (no CL) (3 nights)
3) Grand Flo RV CL (4 nights)/Contemporary RV CL (3 nights)
4) Beach club (deluxe room non-club or RV CL room) (2 nights) /Poly WV CL(5 nights)
5) BWI RV CL (2 nights) /Poly WV CL (5 nights)
6) YC turret suite (one night)/Poly WV CL (6 nights)

Thanks for weighing in on your vote!

Gosh, this is a hard one but I like option 5. I like the split between the EP resorts and MK. If you really want to keep GF, did you look at a BWV or BCV 1 bedroom vs Riveria? Im just not the biggest fan of the skyliner. Maybe we have bad luck, but it tends to always go down when we want to use it. Any option you choose, sounds like a great stay!

Thank you- I ended up with option 5. I really wanted GF but couldn’t make it work for my dates. Also it was over $1800 a night for a resort view CL room which IMO is not worth it. Hopefully next time on bb or AP discount!

Don’t forget to check for BB rates on GF and Poly for the second half of your trip while you’re at BWI! @trishadono has managed to snag some incredible rates to switch to a bunch of times.

I get a bit crazy when I research a new resort or category, my 1st YC CL stay, what’s nice is the touring plans has the hotel view quietly in the background. It helps because I have stayed at YC several times and this helps to get my bearings. Then the old dis boards map has room numbers.! Handy for room ready text!

Then for balcony comparison BC (blue building) and YC (grey) you can see BC has small enclosed balconies vs YC nice big open balconies! With a baby she’ll be able to see with YC balcony. May put her in stroller out there. Dang she went from easy to let’s crawl and climb or touch everything!

Anyone with experience with SAB and 10 month baby ? Am I better off holding her in pool or letting her crawl in that shallow section? My kids were teens my 1st stay.

The awesome thing about booking a one night club level stay, is you get access to the club two full days!

I can't predict, but between my stay and someone who's been posting on FB, I have the schedule for the last 9 days:

Monday 1/19 - rioja chicken
Tuesday 1/20 - Salmon cakes
Wednesday 1/21 - Pasta with shrimp
Thursday 1/21 - Tuna poke
Friday 1/22 - Rioja chicken
Saturday 1/24 - Pasta with shrimp
Sunday 1/25 - Tuna poke
Monday 1/26 - Rioja chicken
Tuesday 1/27 - salmon cakes
are these menus for Chronos Club? If you don't eat seafood are there any alternatives?

This was referring to Chronos club, yes.
But it’s only a list of the “main dish” that rotates every night. There are many other food offerings each evening.
For example, here is one menu, showing other items available that night. There is always a salad, cured meats and cheese, crudités, some kid-friendly options, and more.

Just returned from our first stay at BWI CL and we are so impressed! The lounge is beautiful, and it has so much natural light. The food was excellent and the staff were incredibly attentive. They never made us feel like we were imposing or as if they were too busy to be bothered. They did everything with a smile. They genuinely made us feel that they were happy to help. They replenished the foods well before they needed to be and I never once found an empty wine or champagne bottle. In fact, I once emptied one into my glass and before I could even set the empty bottle down, the young man was right behind me with a new one. While the lounge is small, we always found seating. It was very clean and well maintained. I am uncertain whether CL has dedicated Mousekeeping, but I will say that we spent one night in a standard room before CL, and the standard room was horrible. It was absolutely filthy and reeked of mildew so much that I could not even sleep. The CL rooms (we had two) were immaculate, they even cleaned under the bed every day and restocked with tons of products, it was definitely the best Mousekeeping we have had in 10+ years. Everyone working there was so friendly and welcoming.

I am so in love with RPC, but I have to say, that I was shocked at how well Innkeeper's Club compares. RPC has more selection in food (but not a ton more), and the lounge is much more spacious. I love the flow of it being in the main building with the shopping and bars and the monorail all right there under one roof. I love hearing the piano while I'm in the lounge. But that's where it ends for me. The service at Innkeeper's Club was just superior. Some of you might remember that I was unimpressed with some of the RPC service, and that in particular it was the younger CM's who were the ones just standing around talking most of the time and acting put out over requests such as whether they could please bring something that they should have already realized needed replenishing. I'm a mom to two young adults so I hate to bring their age into it, but it was pretty consistent. Innkeeper's Club has the same age distribution and those young adults were just fabulous. Never stopped working, and if they were talking to one another they were constantly scanning to see whether anyone needed them. If you walked in their direction they immediately asked how they could help, with a smile. They were all super upbeat. Innkeeper's Club also had a dedicated manager (Lene) there every day, I did not observe that at RPC. The quality of their food was just as good as RPC. The lounge is just as beautiful (on a much smaller scale), and was definitely cleaner. RPC consistently had multiple (6+) tables that needed to be cleared, along with kid messes of discarded food all over the floor for over 30 mins while CM's stood around chatting to one another. Innkeeper's Club CM's were so fast to clear plates and wipe tables and I never saw a single mess on the floor even though there were plenty of spirited kids eating there.

I didn't take any photos in the lounge but if anyone has any questions I would be more than happy to try and answer them! It was wonderful and I would definitely go back. For reference, out of everywhere that we have stayed, there have only been two places that I ever went to return to, GF and AKL, with Innkeeper's Club now being the third.
I just changed my upcoming quick 2-night visit from GF RC to BWI CL after thinking about your post and seeing it had popped up for my dates - this stay is primarily to snack at FARTs, and I have a bunch of meetings to head back to my room for, so the proximity is a major bonus. I do have an After Hours at MK the second night, travel back will be less convenient at the end of that, but so much is closed at MK now that I don't anticipate closing the park down. I'd rather save my $ and stalk RPC for my upcoming 4-night trip in April! Really shocking to hear the cost difference for those 2 nights out loud, for sure, Bounceback rate or not. I have only stayed at BWI CL once, but like you, I was very impressed, especially with the CMs.
