Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I have a few BBs, one later in the year I use right now to check other dates & resorts. I’m seeing a Deluxe King @ GF for your dates right now. Have you been able to look yourself? I know you might not be able to finalize, but you can see what’s available.

I haven't been able to see anything online since the last change we made. I've been having to call in. When I called & made the switch to CR the CM checked & said this wasn't available. I've had that happen from time to time. DH is now set on CR. I'm going to sleep on this tonight & call in the morning. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Just go thru the steps to make a change on the BB reservation. You can check different dates, resorts or just room types.

Yep I have a placeholder res for next year I use to look around. What I found is my Oct trip at VGF was actually an AP discount and not BB. Good thing I booked because NOW Friday and Saturday 10/31-11/2 is not included in the AP discount, I got a great rate!

@focusondisney thank you!!! I WAS doing it that way several months ago, and completely forgot that that was the way to access the BB. I thought the system just wasn’t showing it anymore, completely forgetting that I needed to access it by editing my existing reservation. My old lady brain! Thanks again for your help!

Having a great stay at BWI. It's been at least 6 years since we were here. Lots of changes but the staff has been wonderful, shout out to Jonni. More tables are desperately needed here. Several times no tables have been available. We had some apps on our balcony last night which ended up to be nice but just a bit of a pain to carry everything back and forth.

Came up to the BWI lounge to get a drink and they had the signs for dinner out. This gives you an idea of what they have. It's been pretty good.

Super unimportant just for curiosity question!

I’ve seen discussion a few places recently about CL robes and slippers.
I’ve stayed CL at CSR a few times in the past few years, and we never had robes or slippers as far as I noticed. We’ve only stayed in regular GDT rooms, never a suite.
I saw someone mention recently they had robes and slippers in a GDT CL deluxe suite.

Does anyone know, is this:
A GDT thing in all suites?
A GDT thing in only CL suites?
A GDT thing supposed to be in all CL rooms?

I’m speculating it’s a suite thing since there aren’t dedicated CL rooms, it’d be a chore to put robes/slippers in whatever standard tower room a club level guest got assigned to. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just curious if anyone could confirm!

I had a robe and slippers in the CL suite I was in at GDT back in June. I was under the impression that all tower suites were CL, but I could be wrong.

We're staying put at CR Atrium. DH just doesn't care for GF. I explained to him that the main building will be so much better than our room was in Sago Key.

Good news is that my youngest DD & I will be taking my oldest DD & staying at GF for her 30th next June.

Oh interesting, I'm not sure either. I only know that if you're in a regular room but CL, you can be in any standard tower room.

That would make sense then in the slippers/robes discussion, they can easy allot those to the suites then but I can see that logistically trying to stock them in standard CL rooms would just be a nightmare.

Do any of the deluxes have rooms that are shared between CL/non-CL, or is this exclusively a CSR quirk?

I hope you’re not too disappointed - on an up note, the lobby will be complete next June (we hope, haha)! I know you’ll have a great time at CR.

At one time, I know this was true of AKL. I dont know if this is the case anymore. Certain rooms might be deemed CL. I know you are guaranteed an Arusha Savanna view room but I would be shocked to hear that every room facing the Arusha savanna on the 4th floor is a CL room. That lounge stays busy but theres no way it could hold all of those rooms

Sad to leave BWI, we had a great stay. We requested a BW view but knew our choices were slim on getting one. We didn't get a direct BW view but had a BW side view in room 4211. We ended up really liking this room, it had a great, unobstructed view of EP fireworks.

Next year is our 20th anniversary, and we've been wanting to do CR CL but haven't pulled the plug for one reason or another. Im seeing a pretty good bounceback on it so I think I'm going to grab it. Resort view room would be Atruim CL facing bay lake, correct?

Yes, the resort view CL faces Bay Lake and the pool. It’s a very pretty view and you get nice sunrises.
