Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I usually drop bags off with bell services at cr. I ask for escort at check in desk and go up for breakfast and check in.

What is nice for the bay side rooms is a nice view of ewp!
Okay, perfect, that’s what we’ll do. Thank you! Yes, I agree. We should be able to watch it one night while we’re there.

@Willows909 you have read my mind! Thank you for asking and @Dave006 @jemtx and @trishadono for answering. We have a 3-night CR CL Atrium Resort View booked, and I've been all over touring plans and this thread trying to figure out the layout and good rooms. Now, TPV looks dreamy and I wish I could get all nights in one of those!

Looking above, am I correct that the Atrium Club itself is located in the center of the tower, the side facing MK?

Also, the Tower Club is on the 14th floor and is a separate club from the Atrium on the 12th Floor. Are they identical? Is one better?

Currently, I have our first night booked at CR in a TPV room, no CL, then will move over to Resort View CL for 3 nights. Ideally looking to modify the first night to match the other 3 so we aren't roomless during mid-day. But, it's a last-minute trip and I'll take what I can get. Any rooms to avoid on the Resort View side?

Either way, I am very excited to experience the CR CL! :wizard:
We stayed in a resort view CR Atrium club room about a month ago. We were in room 4823 which was the 2nd to last room on the non-Chef Mickey’s side (closest to MK). I could see MK out the end of the building if I opened the room door. The rooms there are super comfortable and spacious. I’m thankful since I spent the last day and a half in there, having tested positive for COVID. Here’s a view from our balcony. You can see the Epcot fireworks in the distance at night.

We stayed in 4824 and agree the views and rooms are great. My favorite is the TPV CL, but we loved the 4824 for a LV CL. Saw the EWP every night around 10pm. We could go to the lounge for fireworks too. Even though there is a bit of glare, we had a good view of the Halloween fireworks by just opening the front door our room and standing in the hallway. 264AC8EC-35D7-4DBF-9AF5-6D52DC853E94.jpeg6DB5ACCA-79BC-4397-AC7F-90C8A540BD53.jpeg

Curious, how is the audio from that spot? Do you get enough sound coming from the observation deck down on 4 or coming down from above on the CG observation decks to make it a decent show?
Good question! I definitely got audio, but I’m not sure if it was coming down from the 15th floor or up from the 4th. I honestly didn’t think about at the time bc I forgot that CA Grill observation deck was above us. It was decently loud on the fire escape and I thought it was decent show from that vantage point.

Awesome experiences! Thank you for sharing and for the pics. :lovestruc
@KrazeeK120 I'm sorry you had covid! But if I had to ride it out anywhere, I'd pick CL at WDW, haha!

4846 - 4848 are just the furthest TPV roos from the CL Lounge and closer to MK. We link the odd number rooms that @trishadono mentioned for a Castle view from the bed.

There are a total of 22 TPV rooms on the Atrium floor 4841 - 4848 are all wonderful. Not to close to the lounge noise and not on the south end of the Tower near Chef Mickie's noise.

ETA: still learning to spell...

Love all this info! You are all great!

I checked into CR Atrium today. I was here last August as well for MNSSHP and have been here a few times before post-pandemic. The lounge apps are greatly improved, as others have already posted. Confirmed (as have others) with CMs that they shifted to the Chef Mickey chef from CG chef, so that’s weird, but they all love him and made a point of telling me how much more, so there’s that! I’m taking pics, promise to post them:).

Hello club level friends!

My family is former frequent CL flyers who used to be AP holders and and go 3-4/yr from Ohio. We took a long hiatus when child #4 pushed us into 2 rooms and our growing family wanted to travel elsewhere.

Now we are back but only go 1-2/year and alternate between offsite and deluxe. I know that's weird but I do not like mods or values at all. This year we finally went back to our old favorite Poly CL and while we loved it, we were a disappointed at the 3 day breakfast & app rotation. We are definitely used to at least 5 days. (and oh my gosh, my boys missed the days of Kona sticky wings and sushi in the lounge!)

It wasn't so bad that we were not bitten by the CL bug again 😂, but I think I may want to book splits if all the lounges are on 3 day cycles. I am a big fan of splits anyway but I just want to be sure before I make the decision.

The last deluxe CL we've not ever tried is WL and I have my eye on the Old Faithful Club, but I don't want to do a week or more if this is just the new standard. We're not park heavy and love to lounge by the pool and relax, especially now that 3 of our children are in college. Having variety is pretty important to us in addition to the convenience.

Help me out! Are all the lounges on 3 day food rotations?

Looking above, am I correct that the Atrium Club itself is located in the center of the tower, the side facing MK?
Yes both CL lounges are located in front middle area directly off the Elevator bridge.

Also, the Tower Club is on the 14th floor and is a separate club from the Atrium on the 12th Floor. Are they identical? Is one better?
Correct on the Floors and they now have the same basic food items. The Atrium Club is normally the busiest and the largest. The Tower Club is often very quite unless all the Suites are full.

The Tower Club only has 5 regular rooms: 2 TPV King rooms and 3 Queen rooms (1 TPV and 2 Resort view). The 3 TPV regular rooms are right next to the Tower lounge.

Will they hold our luggage at the CL desk, or should I leave it with Bag Services at the main check-in desk?
While the concierge CMs will always try to find a place for your luggage it is best to use the Bell Services team to store your bags if your room is not available.

I’ve been trying to convince my husband for years that we shouldn’t exchange a lot of gifts for Christmas anymore, especially as retirees trying to clear out clutter & unused things around the house. So late Tuesday, he suggested instead of gifts, we spend Christmas week at WDW this year. We’ve never been on the actual holiday before, so I’m a bit nervous. I told my husband we’d have to stay CL for our 1st time, so at least we don’t have to worry about fighting crowds for every meal.

Luckily I found decent airfare, December 22 - 26. We’re staying at POFQ the first night, then 3 nights at CR. The Tower Club king room was available with the GP discount. We’re going on our anniversary trip on Labor Day. We had that room booked, but just got moved because the 14th floor is having some construction work done. Seemed like fate that I could book it for Christmas . And we can watch the holiday fireworks right from our room. I’m still trying to believe we’re really doing it. I go back & forth between excitement & dread. :rotfl2:

Wow, what a great gift. Christmas at Disney is magical. You’re going to have a great time.

Can you explain about the 14th floor being under construction over Labor Day please. We are booked and have not been told about this. I even talked to signature services today and there was no mention of construction. The suites are mega expensive and you have me worried.
