Getting Excited! One week today I'll be checking in to WL Old Faithful Club! Just got an email from them! I also had received a phone call one day after I booked a few months back!

Oh that’s too bad. We’re CL at Poly & BWI Inn 4th of July. I thought I might meet some CL regulars that week.

Poly on the 3 or 4 is fun with reserved beach seating . Keep talking to the cms so you know they have planned. NYE I needed to fetch this wrist bands. It wasn’t communicated well.

Also they usually do fun 4th games n such for kids, different food items and desserts .

Oh just remembered they did have a bar in the cl reserved beach area. this year .

We just stayed there a couple weeks ago and let's just say we had a lot of communication from them! I received a phone call right after booking which was nice but I had just booked the trip so I hadn't even thought about anything yet. Then I received an email about a week before trip asking for arrival time, etc. So I happily replied to their email, with detail. Then I was busy the day before our trip and they called again asking for arrival time, etc. I didn't answer the call but listened to the voice message. So I re-forwarded my email to them saying they must not have received my last email so here is my info. Then I got worried they weren't getting my emails, so I called them. I was told they had both of my emails but just like to also call the day before arrival. So for people who have last-minute requests, this is great. We loved the CM's there - they were very attentive and always happy to help. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

So…something weird is happening and apparently this will populate to all of the CLs shortly. They’ve removed the desk for the CMs here at AKL CL and now the CMs are expected to stand for the entirety of their eight hour shifts at a little raised desk with a single laptop. They look absolutely miserable. This isn’t right.

We noticed this at our last trip to CR and Poly! I totally agree, it's WRONG on so many levels!

I don’t think dd is going to request her king for Honeymoon, She has had both and you get either 2 sinks or 2 showers, both are good options

I dont have any cl booked the rest of the year! I’ll be counting on y’all’s pix!

Omygoodness, You have NO trips planned? I am always counting on you to keep me updated! Enjoy your DD's wedding and post a few pics here so we can share the excitement! Even if she wants faces blocked out!

FYI, I had been stalking RPC for Nov/Dec trip and had not found any availability, as we all know due to the uncertainties of construction. Just wanted to post here that a lot of availability just popped up for me so I booked it. I'm not sure if that means they're predicting starting up any day now and predict it to be done by Nov/Dec, or if it was just a glitch in the system. But in any event, I got it booked so I'm happy for now. Going to also book a back up just in case.

FYI, I had been stalking RPC for Nov/Dec trip and had not found any availability, as we all know due to the uncertainties of construction. Just wanted to post here that a lot of availability just popped up for me so I booked it. I'm not sure if that means they're predicting starting up any day now and predict it to be done by Nov/Dec, or if it was just a glitch in the system. But in any event, I got it booked so I'm happy for now. Going to also book a back up just in case.

I have an RPC room booked for the first weekend in November. When I booked it a couple of months ago, there were several types of rooms available for our dates, but I haven’t checked too much since.

Given my current track record with BWI, I’m not optimistic that it will work out, but I do have it booked.

Hopefully more dates opening up means it’s going to be a quicker process than planned!

Hey girl! I wrote about this back in December!! I had overheard the concierge CM talking to a guest they were friendly with! Here’s what I heard them say…


Did they actually add more tables to the space where the desk was? When we were there there, there was one CM (in addition to the desk CM) standing right outside the elevator embankment, alongside the railing, with a tablet helping guests. They had a little slide out desk when needed. I guess they’re both there now.

For Visual purposes:
This is the only picture I took in that direction, (sorry so dark!) but right by that door, in the far corner, is the CM Desk and to left of where the large pillar is, over to the left side of the picture, is where the other CM was. They already had a 2 top table right next to the desk. I can’t imagine they were able to add more than 2 more tables? Can you take a picture of the space for us, if you have time? I’m curious now! Thank you and thanks for sharing!!

Unfortunately we checked out this morning, but during our stay they did indeed remove the existing CM desk from your photo and added one four-top and one two-top table. They are clearly overbooking because it didn’t alleviate the crowding issue at all. The CMs are extremely upset because they have to now stand constantly for every eight hour shift and it’s really not what they signed up for.

I have trips lol. Just not cl. We have WL courtyard view for $350 a night for 2 nights then GF convention rate for $350 a night 2 nights in September. (D23) Those rates are ancient!

Looking for a family trip MDE ….. it would be nice before she’s married one last one as us 4. I have BWI now but looking.

Is the firework music piped in to the lounge or just out on the balcony?

They don’t put the coffee out at night but the nespresso is there. I buy decaf at home so probably have. I was JUST there and can’t answer . I heard music for HEA but I was on the balcony . I think it was only out there but did not go in until after it was over.
When CR calls you ask. They usually call for allergies a few days prior but it’s actual CR people not DSS.

I did see one family have 2 girls scared of heights. I told them to pull chairs in front of the door and open it and watch while inside. Weather worked for that that night.
