Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Have the opportunity to stay at YC - Garden view Regatta Club Level -- besides the food and drink; what are other perks to staying at CL? Have never stayed at YC or at CL before. Those of us going are not beer or wine drinkers -- we prefer the "hard stuff." ha! Can we get other drinks at CL - even if we need to pay for them??

Any info/recommendations would be appreciated!

OMG I've been trying to book a room on the disney site for an hour now, and every time I try it throws up errors and then the room is not available anymore. Tried two different poly CL rooms, CR CL, now WL deluxe CL room and I'm afraid what will happen if I have to keep going.....I'm gonna run out of options. I'm screaming inside, I just wanted a nice trip with both of my girls in CL and now it won't let me book anything

I just noticed this message on the Disney booking site:

Vacation package and hotel only reservations are currently unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hopefully everything will be working again fairly soon.
Edited to add the site is back up now.

Yeah, it finally gave me that message, and I’m used to the “under construction” pages, but for a good hour it was just eating the reservation and telling me my cart was empty or instructing me to call due to an error. I don’t mind if I go and get the “construction” pages, but at least I know. Thankfully it looks like the room I wanted is back, but I’m gonna give it a bit before I try and book it again. Disney IT at its best today.

Do it before midnight Eastern.

There is now a note to TAs stating that starting at midnight Eastern through early morning hours there will be maintenance outages for WDW & Aulani websites affecting room only & package bookings.

Someone may contact you from the CL and ask if they can assist you with any extras or dining. I’ve had that call from BC and BWI, but I never received it from YC since it reopened, but it’s been a minute since we stayed YC CL. No, there is no option to get hard liquor. You’d have to go down to the Ale and Compass bar or Crew’s Cup Lounge to get mixed drinks. You can put in your room request by calling or emailing Signature Services; you can also reach out to them for any reservation help.

I was trying to cancel & rebook a park reservation this morning. It wouldn’t give me the cancel button on the app or website. Finally had my DIL sign into my account at her house to do it. But she had to use my AP spot to book, couldn’t book under resort stay. Even tho resorts were & still are all green. She just told me they are starting some changes to park reservations tomorrow. So of course the site is all screwy today.

Oh I hope so!! I have 3 other already booked reservations, one in the fall and one in early winter I would love to have a discount on.

I did finally get my room though (yay!), finally going to try out some Poly CL. I would have done it earlier but there keeps being no availability, and now it’s finally happening (the system wanted me to work for it though )

I didn’t give it too much time before going back, after all that work I didn’t want to actually lose the room. I had a room yanked from me after spending all day convincing my 11 year old we should stay in it, finally agreed, and then the room was gone so I didn’t want that playing out again . Glad I grabbed it so I didn’t have further issues with it. I’m the only one in my family who has stayed at Poly, hopefully my girls like it as much as they think they will.

It was already acting odd for park reservations today. I have an AP but the girls don’t, so usually I have to go in separately to book mine, and then they show up as different reservations (like for my trip with my sister in December each day has two park reservations on it). This time I did it separate thinking it would be the same old thing, and then it lumped all of them together just like old times. I feel like every time I go to make park reservations they have changed something, can’t even get used to it before they mess with it.

Fun! PP answered your questions, but I'll add with a YC CL room you're guaranteed to be on the 5th floor, which is all CL rooms. There are two CM desks right off the 5th floor elevator with CMs 7am-10pm that can help with basic front desk and concierge light type things... fixing MagicBands (a common problem for some at YC), helping cancel an ADR, maybe be able to answer Genie/park questions if they happen to be knowledgeable (some aren't), etc. Nothing earth shattering, but nice to have in the rare case you need something.

I consider one of the major perks of CL just having the lounge as an extra space to be while others are sleeping/getting ready, and water/coffee/other beverages on hand without having to mess with any resort quick service or restaurant.

FYI, the bar at Ale & Compass lounge will serve drinks to go (Crew's Cup may too, but not sure)... so I pop down there when I need something stronger. Or Hurricane Hannah's out by the pool when it's open.

Getting excited. Only 4 more days till the trip. We leave Friday nite. But will be getting in MCO at midnight so opted to stay at the Hyatt. Today i got my first Club level call from the actual resort. Which is YC. This made me more excited! This will be my longest trip to Disney with 20 days. Doing splits with 4 hotels. I sure hope I can sleep thru the next several nites cuz i am so so excited.

Can anyone who is currently staying in YC CL do me a huge favor and take a picture of the hair dryer in the room? It was a surprisingly powerful conair dryer that I want to try and purchase but cannot find it online. Thanks in advance!
